So. These past few months have been well for the fellas and I. We've made a name for ourselves here at Minerva Academy, Tara and I are still together, the fellas along with myself have been getting stronger every day, you could say school has been going well for us.

The Fellas, Tara and I were sitting in the cafeteria, eating this very well made pork the chefs here usually whip up, we have it often but I'm not getting tired of it.

I took a bite of the nice tender piece of pork, Michael then asked "So Rhys, did you figure out that new fusion spell?"

Rhys swallowed his meat and said "I figured it out months ago, Michael, I managed to perfect it with animals, but I need two human subjects"

Michael looked at me "We should give it a shot, Jack, I think that would be awesome" Michael said

I shrugged "Maybe, I'll give it some thought" I said before taking another bite of the meat.

As I ate, one of the teachers came to our table, he stood over me and Michael as we ate our meal and said in a worried tone "Michael and Jackson, you two need to come with me, The Headmaster wishes to speak with you"

I swallowed my meal and wiped my lips off with a napkin and lightly smacked Michael's arm so he could hurry up.

The two of us got out of our seats and followed the teacher out of the cafeteria and into another building, which was occupied by the professors and Headmasters of the school, you could say it's almost like their apartment.

We walked in the giant building, and in an instant were transported into an office, I assumed it was the Headmaster's.

I turned around and saw a big buff man, He looked middle aged and had the odd little scar on his face, with the psychic element symbol on his right shoulder, He was the one who teleported us in here I guess.

"Glad you boys came, my name is Headmaster Harkin, if you didn't already know that" Harkin said in a stern tone

"What seems to be the problem, Headmaster?" Michael asked

Harkin stood up from his desk and walked towards the window behind his desk, admiring the view his office granted him.

"A small town outside of the mountain range was attacked three days ago; a small team of mages were sent to investigate the following day, and not a single word from them since they got there, something is also blocking me from reaching them telepathically, that, or they've been killed" Harkin explained

"Whatever it is, Headmaster, We'll find out, and also, why did you want us to investigate this town? You could've picked anyone else for the job, but why us?" I asked

Harkin turned around and faced Michael and I "Because you two are the strongest mages at this school, and the professors here all have pressing matters of their own, like running the school, if you want to back out of this, you can"

"Not at all, sir, you can count on us" Michael said as he fist-pumped

Harkin held out his hand then said "good, I'll send you to the town, trust me, it'll be easier that way"

He shouted out an incantation, which made his eyes glow and a pink circle form around Michael and I, a bright pink light came out from the circle, engulfing us and in an instant, transported the two of us to the town, at least, what's left of it.

Michael looked at me and said "Alright, let's go I guess".

We walked into the town, what should be populated by people was populated by nothing but silence and the odd sound of rubble shifting in the destroyed houses.
