???;
everything was a blur to her, she can't remember anything about herself. who am i? she looks down at the floor only to be met with a I.D. oh? picking it up slowly, she looks around before reading the name. "y/n l/n?" is that me?
y/n;
she leaves the abandoned house, old and rusted away in the middle of a green grassy field. a tall tree near a peaceful creak runs along the house. the woman called y/n rushes towards the creak her bare feet getting slowly coated in grains and gravel.
hastily, she kneels down and looks at her reflection.. then back to the card in her hand, comparing the faces. "it's me.." she murmured to herself after confirming her suspicions were correct.
she stands back up and takes a look at her surroundings... old dusted house... huge tree with plenty of shade.. some moss on it.. and.. a figure in the background?
she runs to the figure in hopes of finding another human to help her, it's not too easy not knowing anything about the world you just have awaken in. after reaching her destination the person was no where to be found, she looked around finding no traces of human life. "helloooo! anyone?" she hesitantly spoke aloud.
she sighed in defeat, feeling lazy she decided to stay there for the rest of the day. she observed insects and animals feeling fascinated by their presence and looks. a little squirrel climbed down from the tree and stood in front of her, giving her an acorn. she picked it up in surprise and held her finger out to the squirrel hoping she could let the little guy.
to her immediate surprise, the squirrel rubbed its cheek against her finger. she softened at the sight and pet the squirrel happily. how cute.. it seemed calm in her presence while she was happy, but once startled by a noise the squirrel runs off and back to the tree.
alerted, she gets up and turns to face behind her. nothing... but i swea— she saw a book on the ground. picking up, she looked at the title seemingly puzzled. "The Complete Manual of Suicide? what's suici—"
"aha! you've found my book, i've been looking for this." the tall bright man walked up to her, in close proximity he looked down at her and gently placed his hand on the book. "ah i've also been looking for you."
"looking for me? i don't even know who i am myself! what do you want from me." she frowned and furrowed her eyebrows. she found the man suspicious, having just met him.
the man sighed and took the book, he sat down by the tree while looking up at her. "it seems i've gotten here before him." he murmured.
"him? who's him. tell me. what's going on?" the girl seemed confused and unsure... should i trust him? "ah, it's nothing to worry your pretty little head about. my name is Dazai Osamu and i've come to help you." he smiled softly at her.
"Y/n L/n, and help how? i know nothing and i'm of no use to you.." she said with uncertainty. she observed the man, he had wavy brown hair and his complexion was that of perfection. she would be lying if she said he wasn't attractive.
"ah-ah! you are important remember that~ now how would you like a relaxing office job hm?" he stood up excitedly and held his hand out to her. reluctantly, she took it. "i suppose it wouldn't hurt... besides i'm stranded out here-" she sighed, in defeat, letting her head drop.
"great!" he said excitedly and hurried to a hunk of metal that was sitting about 15 minutes away. "what the HELL is that." she pointed at the contraption, almost scared for her life. it looked scary. he looked at her in surprise, "it's my scary terrifying human transporter, you'll love it" he said blankly as he shoved her in the passenger to where she freaked out and pressed her face against the window. "get me out of here— YOU—" he entered on the drivers side and smiled at her innocently.
"you're insufferable." she huffed out and crossed her arms. he only hummed in response as he started the contraption. "ahaha! just kidding!! it's a car, pretty~" his smiled seemed even wider than before. i want to punch him hard in the face. "oh.. a car... how strange." she murmured.
he began to drive the 'car' in some direction unknown to her.
why am i trusting this man whom i've just met after gaining some sort of consciousness? am i stupid? or dumb?

for the sake of the story, we're saying dazai knew a part of the doa's plan (he had knew about fyodor while he was in the mafia, he had investigated him once.) beforehand and was able to counter ONE single important piece of information. this information being a human.
