more kids sat by Ben and Cody. I only knew one of them. James was his name. He was pretty smart. the other kid there looked like an idiot. probably a weirdo like Todd. He had brown hair and blue eyes, he talked a lot, maybe too much. Soon a girl finally sat in the group, next to the blue-eyed kid. the girl had ginger hair. I listened to them talking.
"so Ben who is this guy?" the girl asked
"his name is-"
"Cody. my name is Cody."
"Well Cody why doesn't everyone here introduce themselves to you?" She yelled out. She then stood up at her seat and said a little too loudly
"My name is August Thompson! Now you," she pointed at the boy next to her, " now you say your name!"
The boy got up himself as August sat down.
" My name is Walker..." He then told the boy Infront of him to say his name, the boy got up and Walker sat down
" Cody, my name is James."
He sits down.
"Well August you didn't have to be so loud about saying your name, I already knew all your names, Ben told me." Cody said. He seemed a little off now. His eyes seemed to get darker.
"Well I need to leave now, I have class."
August stopped Cody
"Weren't you meant to have class this whole time? Your older than us right?" She asked.
"Yeah but... Eh I was just skipping class but can't do it all afternoon or I'll get in trouble so goodbye everyone!" He ran out of the cafeteria waving at the group the whole way.
"God Ben you befriend the weirdest people!" August said.
"You calling us weirdos?!" Walker and James asked in unison.
"No no no no! It's just Cody seems weird."
I thought to myself you could say that again! And I laughed to myself.
"Hey Noah Reed? You gonna stop staring or...?" George asked and broke me out of my mind.
"Ah sorry..." I looked over to Todd who now had kids sitting next to him! Azreal and Nadia! The smartest kids and the weirdo!
"You see the weirdo George?" George nodded,
"Yeah? Why?"
"Look!" I said and pointed at Todd "Azreal and Nadia are sitting next to him!"
George only shrugged and said "eh they must be friends."
I laughed and Todd looked at me but I didn't care
"THEM? Friends with the weirdo? Man this has to be a prank! They are going to leave Todd sooner or later and leave Todd sad because he thought he actually had friends! But who would really want to be with him?"
