Broken Promise

Emergency meeting pt 2

The kokotaim gang went to the cafeteria. They did not know what to say about what they saw and how to comfort their friend. They knew their friend was worrying about his brother. They were worried, too.

"I'm sure Captain Kaizo is gonna be OK," Boboiboy said, trying to comfort his friend. "Boboiboy is right, Fang," said Yaya. "We are sure he is getting treated right now," said Ying. While Gopal nodded his head, not knowing what more to say to his friend.   

"I know the wounds are being treated but still ..." said Fang, not being able to say how he felt. "Still what Fang? You can tell us," said Boboiboy. Fang sighed and said, "I have seen my brother hurt, but they were never this bad. "Dey, are you sure?" Asked Gopal. 

"Of course, I'm sure," said Fang, annoyed by Gopals' question. Ying elbowed Gopal as a warning to watch what he said. "But it can be possible that there were times when you didn't notice or Captain Kaizo hid it from you," said Yaya gently.

"That's not possible cause I knew when he was hurt even when he hid them from me," said Fang, growing more worried and frustrated.

While all this was happening, Boboiboy was looking at his friend while thinking,' I can understand Fang being worried about his brother. After all, I was worried like Fang once, too. 5 years ago, when I was worrying about HER.'

Ochobot noticed that Boboiboy was lost in his thoughts again, but this time, he didn't do anything as it wasn't the time. But thought about asking the boy later.

"If abang is so hurt, then the enemy must be very strong," Fang said to himself rather than his friends. This caused Boboiboy to snap out of whatever trance he was in.

He looked at Fang and saw how worried he was despite their friends trying to cheer him up. Boboiboy could understand Fang's worry. After all, Kaizo was his only family.

Boboiboy was gonna say something when they were called to the meeting again.

With Kaizo

After being told to rest for a while, Kaizo went to his room. But not before noticing the look his younger brother was giving him. Kaizo knew his brother had never seen him this wounded before.

When his brother was younger, Kaizo had done everything to prevent him from seeing his wounds. He knew how worried his brother would have gotten, so Kaizo hid his pain.

But now seeing that pained look on his brother's face hurt him more than the pain caused by the wounds.

Kaizo finally reached his room. There were some medical acts there waiting for him, probably sent by Maskmana.

Kaizo had a lot of wounds, but they weren't big, just small cuts everywhere. It was as though the person wasn't fighting but only toying with him.

Or showing that she could kill Kaizo if she wanted to but had chosen not to. They had their face covered but Kaizo was sure that it was a female by their bone structure and height alone.

Kaizo wasn't sure what her power was only that she was strong. Kaizo also had a feeling that she wasn't using all of her powers but only about 50 % of it.

She was good at using her sword. But the thing that has been nagging at the back of Kaizo's mind is the sword technique. It felt as though he had seen it before, which wasn't possible since this was the first time he fought her.

'Maybe I have seen the technique somewhere and just forgot about it until now,' thinks Kaizo. This is a possibility considering there are a lot of techniques that he has seen in his life.

'Maybe asking Maskmana is going to help,' thinks Kaizo.

In the meeting room

As all the higher-ups watched everybody leave they still couldn't believe how hurt Kazio was. Maskmana called for a medic so that Kaizo's wounds could be treated.

 Masakmana was very worried for Kaizo after all he hadn't seen Kaizo so injured in a long time. After Masakmana gave the medic instructions about what to do, they all started analyzing the information and video Kazai collected during his mission and fight. 

According to the information, there was someone who was in charge of everything there but their face was hidden behind a mask and they rarely ever spoke, which made it more difficult to identify them. 

And they all didn't recognize the individual as any power sphera hunters from the past or their wanted list. After analyzing the information they all started to look through the video of the fight that Kaizo had with them. 

In the footage, they could see the person's fighting styles and the moves they use. From the footage, they could easily tell that this individual was a highly trained, skilled, and dangerous individual.

Though the individual kept their face hidden they could tell that it was a female from their height and structure. From all the footage of the fight, they could tell that their new enemy was highly skilled in hand-to-hand combat, as well as weapon combat mostly sword while also having a high battle IQ. 

In the footage, they could see how easily they were able to fight Kaizo and also injure him. This was concerning considering Kaizo was and is one of their best fighters. Power-wise and also in hand-to-hand combat, and the fact that Kaizo has a very strong defense that is hard to break through. 

But their enemy didn't seem to have that hard of a time finding Kaizo's blind spot and attacking him from there. It was as though the enemy knew Kaizo's moves like the back of her hand.

As all the higher-ups kept on watching the footage Amato couldn't help but feel as though he had seen the fighting style and moves somewhere. But he couldn't pinpoint where. 

Even so, it was oddly familiar to him. "I should look into it more," Amato thought as they were done with their analysis. And were ready to start the main meeting with everyone. 

(Hi! Author here. I know I haven't updated this story at all and it's been 1 year. Sorry for making you guys wait for an update but I was having really bad writer's block every time I tried to write the last part of this chapter. So I had to leave the story alone for a while but it took until today for the writer's block to clear. And for me to get the idea. And funny story but I got the idea for the final part of this chapter while I was taking my exam today. I had to stop writing my exam and quickly write the idea on my question paper lol 🤣(otherwise I would have forgotten the idea by the time I finished my exam and came out), while making sure that my teachers didn't see me doing it.
