Broken Promise

Emergency meeting

I was still deep in my thoughts when I heard my name being called. The voice that called me had panic and worry in them. I turned around and saw my friends running towards me in a hurry and panicked. They all reached me and were trying to say something but were out of breath.

After a while, they were able to speak but were still out of breath. "Boboiboy there is an emergency," said Yaya. Once she said emergency I started to worry and panic. "Why? what happened" I asked. "Boboiboy calms down," Fang said. "How can you ask me to calm down when there is an emergency?" I yelled at Fang.

"Boboiboy let me finish first," said Yaya. "What I was gonna say before you interrupted me was that there is an emergency meeting," said Yaya. "Emergency meeting....?" I said confused. "Yes, emergency meeting that's what Yaya was about to say before you started panicking," said Ying.

"Dey what did you think was happening, did you think that we were under attack," asked Gopal. Hearing Gopal, I realised that I was too deep in my thoughts that I was thinking and expecting the worst to happen when Yaya said emergency.

I shook my head about everything that I was thinking about before they came and focused on the task at hand. "Emergency meeting about what?" I asked. "We'll tell you everything on the way," said Fang. We all started following Fang while he told me what happened.

A while ago

All the kokotaim gang were in the cafeteria when they got a call from commander Kokoci. All of them answered the call. "Commander what happened," asked Yaya. "All of you report to the main control room now," said Kokoci in a hurry. "Roger commander, " all of them said.

When the kokotaim gang reached the main control room all the higher-ups were present. "Boboiboy is not answering," said commander Kokoci. "Have you seen Boboiboy?" asked Admiral Mechamato. "No, why what happened? " Fang asked.

Hearing Fang says that Mechamato got worried about his son. "We have been calling him but he isn't answering," said Admiral Maskmana. "But Boboiboy always answers," said Ochobot getting worried about his friend.

"GO AND FIND BOBOIBOY NOW" Admiral Turang screamed. "Yes, Admiral," said all of them getting started. All of them went to all the places they know Boboiboy maybe at but they didn't find him. "Where did Boboiboy go?" Asked Gopal to get tried.

"I think I know where we might find Boboiboy," said Ochobot. "Where Ochobot?" Asked Fang. "Follow me I have a place in mind," said Ochobot. They all follow Ochobot to the very end parts of the TAPOPS space station.

It was a place where Ochobot once found Boboiboy. Since then every time Ochobot can't find Boboiboy he goes there and finds him looking at the stars with a sad smile. A kind of smile that is remembering a happy moment that brings peace and pain with it.

The first time Ochobot found Boboiboy there he had asked him what he was doing there. The answer he got was " remembering good times Ochobot, times when I used to look at these stars with happiness and joy". After that day Ochobot found Boboiboy in that place looking at the stars with longing in his eyes.

But Ochobot never found out who his best friend was longing for. When they reach a dead end they saw Boboiboy looking at the stars. Ochobot saw the same sad smile, along with the longing expression on his best friend's face.

The kokotaim gang started to call Boboiboy's name but he didn't react to them at all. It was as if he was there but also wasn't. They started calling their friends' names in a panic since their friends seams to not listen to them. It was making them worry their friend had a habit of zoning out but it wasn't like this before.

After trying for a while they got his attention. "So that's what happened," Fang said finishing his long story of what happened. "OK, so the commander and Admiral called us for an emergency meeting?" Asked Boboiboy.

"Yes" answered Yaya. "He didn't say what the meeting is about?" Asked Boboiboy. "No, he didn't" was the answer he got. 'What could have happened for them to call for an emergency meeting so suddenly?' Though Boboiboy.

The kokotaim gang reached the main control room and see all the higher-ups sitting there waiting for them. "Sorry for not answering the calls and being late," Says Boboiboy. "We'll talk about that later now to more important things," said Admiral Maskmana.

They all gather around and Boboiboy asked what the meeting is about. "This was confidential so you all were not informed but Captain Kaizo is on an undercover mission," said commander Kokoci. Kokotaim Gang beside Fang was shocked that they were being informed about Captain Kaizo's undercover mission.

"Fang you knew, " Gopal asked. "Of course, I knew, did you forget that Captain Kaizo is my big brother," Fang asked. "But Admiral why are you telling us about this, " asked Boboiboy. Admiral Maskmana signed and said, " we weren't going to tell you kids but it seems that our enemy may be stronger than we thought, Kaizo almost got caught he is on his way back right now".

Right after Admiral Maskmana said that a spaceship landed. They all went towards it. The door opened and they see Kaizo walking out but injured and covered in bruises. Seeing Captain Kaizo in such a state they all are thinking about how powerful the enemy was. 'How powerful is the enemy that even Captain Kaizo is this hurt' Though Boboiboy after all, he has fought Captain Kaizo before and knows how hard it is to defend him.

While Fang is worried about his big brother. He has never seen his big brother this hurt before, Fang knows how powerful his big brother is. "Kaizo are you alright?" Asked Admiral Maskmana seeing the boy he raised as his own so hurt. "I am alright Admiral no need to worry " was what Kaizo said.

"Kaizo rest for a while and then we can start the discussion about your mission," said Admiral Amato. "No need Admiral," Kaizo said. "No you are going to rest for a bit," said Admiral Turang. Seeing how everyone was worried and especially his little brother Kaizo decided to rest for a bit.

"You all are dismissed for now we will talk after Kaizo rests for a bit," said commander Kokoci. "Yes, commander," they all said and went from there. But they all were thinking the same thing 'what is gonna happen next?'

1114 words damn this is the longest chapter I have written till now. Didn't know I could write that many words but wow, and I am sorry this chapter took such a long time my university is taking a lot of my time right now. But thank you to all the people that liked and enjoyed my story ❤️.
