Translator's Description of the Plot:
A story of an unlikely love between a human and an alien who became trapped on a remote planet with seemingly no hope of being rescued. They spent their days there, fighting with one another, learning to tolerate one another, and, eventually, falling in love with one another.
Cerulean Planet is the first story in the Blue Dust Trilogy by Chu Tu. The stories in this series explore what it means to be human and humanity's place in the cosmos through the lens of humans and aliens alike.
Some things to note before you start:
1. This story is absolutely R-18. I will not be adding warnings at the start of every chapter.
2. Given the subject matter and nature of the story, some aspects of this translation requires input and interpretation from the translator that goes beyond what the text itself offers (e.g., the use of "he" vs "they" pronouns on an alien that resembles human but is technically genderless). As such, keep in mind that this translation has been filtered through my own lens, experience, and perspective.
3. Related to the last point, I will prioritize a sense-for-sense translation, which may differ from a more literal translation of the text, to try and preserve (what I believe to be) the core essence of the original writing.
If you cannot tolerate such following heavy contents, you can skip this one. If you have continue to read this book, make sure to read them all the way through to understand the whole theme of this novel.
