Saturday, 9 pm

The whole day I spent it in my room. Trying to form a plan on how I can improve myself for her to notice me. Let's just say, it's been going meh.

I turned on my computer and scrolled through catalogs.
I saw this website in which it titled

I looked at it and clicked on the link, 'Looks promising.'

I scanned through the steps thoroughly. The first five were products and clothes to make you look more confident and appealing.

It is linked to some shops where you can buy the items and products.

'This is very helpful, more than I anticipated. I sighed in relief until I finished reading all the steps...

Before reading the last one it stated to form a date or meeting up to hang out and to make sure it was perfect. It gave some pictures and ideas to plan. Then the last one said.

-BE YOURSELF!! If you want her love, show her the amazing person you are! -

I looked at that 10th step blankly. 'That's all I'd have to do?'

I backed away from the desk and slouched back on the chair.

"Guess I'd better start shopping and planning."

I smiled; I was finally going to get to confess. Then again, I didn't even know her name, haha.

"I should start by getting to know her before I go all in."

Sunday, 1 pm

After a long morning of planning and buying, I was going to do it.
I bought some hair products that'll help my hair from frizzing up in humidity. In case you didn't know, it's very common to get humid here. Besides that, I also bought a nice sweater. It was black and had brown buttons on it. I had the perfect shoes to match it.

Once I got up from the mirror after fixing myself up, I started into it and smiled.

"All that putting down and I don't feel any of those negative thoughts at all today. I look..."

I gave myself a spin and looked at myself all around. "I look handsome!" A big smile reflected off my face. Pure happiness is the best way to describe it.

Before I left the dorm, I finally got to hang my note on the fridge.

Train Station
Sunday, 1:30 pm

As I waited for the train to arrive, I noticed Felix was waiting on a nearby bench. I approached him and waved hello.

Surprised, he looked at me shocked.

"Wow, I didn't expect you to be here haha! Where are you heading to?"

I smiled and said, "I'm going to do it! I'm going to make the first move and introduce myself properly."

He smiled widely and stood up proud. "Aw I'm so happy you're going to do it!"

He gave me an encouraging hug and gave me a high five. Before I could ask where he was going as well, the train came in a huff.

The whole way downtown, we talked about what I could say and how I should be. I was a blushing mess and he teased me the whole way for it.

"Don't be nervous Chan I'm sure she'll like you! Besides you're such a great guy."

I looked at him embarrassed but grateful.

"Thank you for being the way you are Felix."

We smiled and 5 minutes later the train stopped at the destination.

Downtown, at one of Seoul's Parks
Sunday, 3 pm

I had heard from one of the producers of skz code she'd be heading here for a part-time assistant job for one of the companies that sponsor us.

As I waited on a bench my hands became very clammy. I left the flowers I had bought earlier next to me as I scurried in my pocket for hand sanitizer. Once I found it; I heard footsteps passing by, it was her!

I applied the sanitizer as quickly as I could and walked behind her and as soon as she made a turn, I was about to say hi when she started talking to someone. As I turned in her direction, I got a look at who she was talking to.

'It's Felix.... again? Expect she's talking to him and she's giggly?!'

I got closer and saw that he seemed excited to talk to her.

'Is this why she talked to him yesterday? She probably asked him to meet her here... For a date...'

I stood dumbfounded. My feelings hurt, she liked him, didn't she? And he liked her back...

I dropped the flowers on the ground with a thump and unexpectedly they both turned around to see what that noise was.

I looked at them.

My eyes started tearing up and my heart sank to my stomach. He looked at me realizing, that it was her.

Embarrassed, I walked away quickly. Tears ran down my cheeks as I turned on my phone for a cab to the train station.

'All this money spent, and time wasted just to find out Felix beat me to it...'

I opened the box of tissues I bought from a convenience store while I waited for the taxi to arrive. I blew my nose and put it back in the bag.

I moved my head to the back of the seat and sighed, 'Why can't someone just like me...'
