I've always been fond of him. The way the sun reflected off his skin. The light that glistens in his beautiful brown eyes. And the mind that captives the world around him. He is truly an amazing person. Not just that but... He's a real human being, my hero
I was walking down the street when a notification pinged on my phone.
[New messages from One and only]
I closed my phone and headed inside the cafe. I sat down and open the messages.
[Hyunjin <3] Hey I was checking in on you, how are you doing this morning beautiful
[Y/N] I'm alright. Today so far has been eh I guess you can say stressful if you can believe that
I waited for a reply as a waiter approached me and took my order. I'll just have a cup of water, thank you. I glanced at my phone to see that he was typing. He only typed two words.
[Hyunjin] I'm coming
A few minutes later I see him walk into the cafe at a pace that was so quick. The sweat dripped from his forehead as he scanned the cafe for me. Once he saw where I was, he approached me and took me in his arms. The warmth of his body against mine was more than enough for me to feel comforted. He kissed my forehead and sat in front of me.
"What's wrong y/n?"
He looked at me with such worry in his eyes.
His leg started anxiously bouncing underneath the table. I took his hand and held it gently, "I should be asking you why you always get like this babe."
I smiled at him with sincerity. He chuckled a little and moved his hair from his face.
A smile spread across his face as he began to speak, "You know that I care about you more than anything or anyone right? Well, you just told me you had a rough morning."
He brought my hand closer and gave it a peck. My cheeks flushed and I smiled back. "So, tell me. What's bugging you beautiful?"
He was a good listener. He always has been. That's what I loved about him. No matter how much I'll ramble on or cry, he won't judge. Just listen.
After I had explained how my morning went, I sighed.
"I know it's too much to ask but, are you busy later?" He looked up at me and was captivated by the look in my eyes. He blushed and looked away.
"I-I didn't mean for that!" Flustered as I was, I hid behind my hands as he laughed.
"Dork!"
He held my hand as we walked out of the cafe. To my lover, Hyunjin, thank you for being a real human being...
