Kaiba stood in the control room, watching as the screens flickered with images from across the multiverse. He had always been fascinated by the idea of multiple realities existing simultaneously, but now, with the Great Multiversal War raging on, his fascination had turned to obsession.
He scanned the screens, looking for any sign of the enemy's movements, but so far, everything seemed quiet. Too quiet.
"Kaiba, what are you doing up here?" a voice interrupted his thoughts.
Kaiba turned to see Yugi standing in the doorway, watching him with a concerned expression.
"Just keeping an eye on things," Kaiba replied, turning back to the screens.
"Anything new?" Yugi asked, walking up to stand beside him.
Kaiba shook his head. "No, not yet. But we can't let our guard down. Not after what happened in the last battle."
Yugi nodded, his expression serious. "I know. But we can't forget that we're not alone in this fight. We have allies, too."
Kaiba glanced at him, a hint of a smile playing at the corner of his lips. "Yeah, I know. I just wish we didn't have to rely on them so much."
Yugi chuckled. "I know how you feel. But we're all in this together, Kaiba. We have to trust each other if we're going to make it through this."
Kaiba nodded, his gaze returning to the screens. "I know. But I can't help feeling like there's more we could be doing. More we could be exploring."
Yugi looked at him curiously. "What do you mean?"
"I mean, what if there are other realities out there that we haven't even discovered yet?" Kaiba said, his eyes shining with excitement. "What if there are new technologies, new weapons, new allies we could find?"
Yugi smiled. "I think you're onto something, Kaiba. But exploring the multiverse is a dangerous thing. We have to be careful."
"I know," Kaiba said, nodding. "But I think it's a risk we have to take. We can't just sit back and wait for the enemy to come to us. We have to be proactive."
Yugi grinned. "You're right. Let's do it. Let's explore the multiverse."
Kaiba's eyes lit up with excitement as he turned back to the screens. "I'm already one step ahead of you, Yugi. I've been working on a new project. Something that will allow us to explore the multiverse like never before."
Yugi raised an eyebrow. "Really? What is it?"
Kaiba smirked. "It's called the Multiversal Explorer. And it's going to change the game."
--Meanwhile--
Kaiba led Yugi over to a large table in the corner of the control room, where a set of blueprints were spread out. He picked up a set of papers and handed it to Yugi.
