Kaiba was hard at work in the control room of the Multiversal Nexus. The repairs had taken longer than expected, but he was determined to restore the Nexus to its former glory.
Suddenly, his phone rang. It was Saburo.
"Kaiba, I have some news," Saburo said urgently.
"What is it?" Kaiba asked, pausing in his work.
"My wife has gone into labor," Saburo replied. "Our daughter is about to be born."
"I know it's short notice, but I was wondering if you could come to the hospital," Saburo said. "I want you to meet my daughter."
"Of course," Kaiba replied. "I'll be there as soon as I can."
After ending the call, Kaiba quickly finished his work and made his way to the hospital. As he entered the room, he saw Saburo holding his newborn daughter.

"She's beautiful," Kaiba said.
Saburo smiled. "Thank you. I wanted you to be the first to meet her. And I have a favor to ask."
"What is it?" Kaiba asked.
"I want you to be her godfather," Saburo said.
Kaiba was taken aback. "Me? Are you sure?"
"Absolutely," Saburo replied. "You've been like a brother figure to me, and I can't think of anyone better to watch over my daughter."
Kaiba felt a swell of emotion in his chest. "I would be honored."
As he held the tiny baby in his arms, Kaiba felt a sense of peace wash over him. The Multiversal War may have brought chaos and destruction, but it had also brought new life and new beginnings.
As he left the hospital, Kaiba knew that the future was uncertain, but he was ready for whatever challenges lay ahead. The Multiverse was vast and unpredictable, but he would do everything in his power to protect it and the people he cared about.
--Some time passes--
Kaiba received a call from Saburo and picked up the phone. "Hello, Saburo. What's going on?" he asked.
"Kaiba, we have a problem," Saburo replied urgently. "Slade has resurfaced in Jump City, and he's causing chaos."
Kaiba's eyes narrowed at the mention of Slade. "I see. I'll get in touch with Raijin and see if he can take care of it."
He hung up the phone and immediately dialed Raijin's number. "Raijin, we have a situation. Slade has returned and is causing trouble in Jump City. Can you track him down and put an end to it?"
Raijin's response was immediate. "I'm on it, Dad. I won't let Slade get away with this."
