We went to the castle in the morning. We met up at the entrance of the castle and snuck inside the castle to the basement. My brother spoke in a very quiet voice, "Ok I will go in and give you the signal to go in." I nod ok. He walked away and I and Smittle waited for forty-five minutes. After forty-five minutes, he gave us the signal which was a wave and we went into the basement. I heard someone yell,
"Hey let us out, we didn't do anything." It looked like Mayor Mint. It was Mayor Mint "We know and we are gonna try to get you out." We looked for the keys. It took us about an hour to find the key to unlock the cell. Two of what I am assuming are Cane's guards came down. "What are you two up to?" One with a very deep scratchy voice asked. The good thing is we look like guards.
"Nothing we were informed to bring these peasants to the king," Snick said, answering his question with a straight face. The other guard looked like he didn't buy it. My brother and I had to put shackles on King Karrot and Mayor Mint and pretend to walk them up the castle Cane recently built. Once we got to the castle we took a left turn into some bushes. I still had the tablet with me but it turned into a paper map like magic. We took their shackles off and I quickly looked at the map. It was the map of Sweetville and had routed all around the castle. Snicks took the map out of my hands.
"This map will show you all the secret routes Cane built around and in the castle. All the routes are different colors, if you take the red route that should lead you into the castle's emergency bunker." Snicks was explaining.
"Once you get to the bunker there should be a staircase that leads to the announcement room where Cane will hold a meeting tomorrow with the whole village- "We could hide in the bunker till morning, then we could barge in and try to turn everyone against Cane and Celar," Karrot said, interrupting Snicks. I and Snick gave Mint and Karrot our armor and Smittles gave them their helmets. They got out of the bushes and headed toward the red route.
