After school, Snicks, Smittles, and I went to the library because we decided during lunch to find out why the candies and vegetables split up and how the war started. "Ok let's start looking for the information so maybe we can get the candies and the vegetables back together," Smittles stated. After a while, Snicks and I started to walk to our hideout with Smittle coming on behind us. "Come on Smittle, we have to go." Smittle followed us to the cave for us to look around for clues.
"Where are we?" Smittle asked.
"We are in my secret hideout." Snicks respond a proud voice.
"Our secret hideout Snicks ... our secret hideout," I said in a very sarcastic voice, putting my elbow on his shoulder.
"Why are we here you two?" Smittles questioned interrupting my brother and me.
"We are here to look for clues,and to see if we can get the two realms back together." My brother said in a very dull tone. We looked for hours and we couldn't find anything until I saw something shiny in the corner of the cave. I went over to it and grabbed it. It looked old and needed washing. "WHAT IS THAT Swix." my brother shouted loudly and quickly.
"Was that necessary Snicks?!"
"Yes. Yes, it was." He stuck out his tongue. I rolled my eyes.
"Anyways I found a stone tablet but it is blank."
"Do we really need it if it is a blank tablet?"
"Ya, I am sure we will need it at some point." Smittles interrupted us. "Guys come on we have more important things to do instead of you guys going back and forth if you need it or not just take it and we can leave. We have been out for eight whole hours. We need to get home." I sigh.
"Their right Snicks let's go–."
"WE HAVE BEEN OUT FOR HOW MANY HOURS?!"
"Eight Snicks eight," Smittles said in a very unsatisfied voice. A speaker goes off Cane starts to speak,
"I'm sorry to inform you, but Mayor Mint has gone missing. We suspect it was the vegetables but we don't know for sure. So I am your new stand, Mayor until we can find Mayor Mint. If you have any information come to me so we can bring him home safely, Thank you." He said in a sorrowful tone. We went outside and went home to our house. We figured we can wait till tomorrow to review the tablet and see if anything is on it.
"Where were you two?" Our mom asked worriedly.
"We were at the library," Snicks said lying.
"And why were you there?"
"We were uuh ..."
"Reading for school and homework," Snicks said, quickly interrupting me.
"Ok just go to bed now."
"Ok mom goodnight," We said in sync as we were heading to bed. We changed into our pajamas and took a long look at the tablet that I found. It looked like a mint and a carrot traveling through the desert.
"Isn't that the driest desert in the realm?"
"Ya, it's the Arrilands" I responded.
"And that looks like King Karrot and Mayor Mint."
"Yup, what are they doing in the Arrilands"
"I don't know but let's go to bed. We can look at this more in the morning."
"Ok," my brother said while he was crawling and curling up in his bed. I went to bed and went to sleep since Snicks was already in bed and sleeping in seconds.
