The arrival of the Beauxbaton and Durmstrang students was quite an event. The pegasi were the most fascinating part of it all.

After the students were welcomed and food was consumed, I snuck out to the pens where the pegasi were being housed. Hagrid greeted me, his figure silhouetted against the dimming daylight. He let me pet them, their feathery coats seemingly glowing.

Animals fascinated me, whether they were magical or muggle, either way there was something intriguing about them. The pegasi were my highlight to everything that day.

Back in the common rooms, I explain the experience to an interested Ginny and seemingly bored Hermione.

"'Mione? You alright?" I ask.

"What? Yeah, I'm fine." she replies half heartedly.

The doors are thrown open by unknown beings, their greying beards touching their knees. The muttering began suddenly as students began to realize who the figures were.

"Must've tried to cross the Age line." Hermione says with a quick grin. She was referring to the line around the Goblet of Fire, that only let students of age enter.

"It's Fred and George!" Ginny exclaims.

"Sounds about right." I say with a laugh.

They beg Hermione to reverse it, but she refuses, her intentions, to let them suffer for their actions, are clear. I laugh along with the others as their pleas become more desperate.

I watch as they climb the stairs to their dorm room, obviously not impressed. I high five Hermione and Ginny.

"They're idiots." Ginny says.

"I agree." I say.

Little did I know.
