Victoria woke up with a start. The only thing on her mind was 'Oh crap, I'm late! Normally, she got up at eight, got ready, and grabbed a quick breakfast before darting off to the extracurricular she had planned that day. Today, she woke at nine and only had half an hour to get ready, eat and then meet up with her friend. At nine-thirty, she somehow left the house on time, Ava. While she was walking along the long twisting roads, something caught her eye.
A store. Normally, something like this would not intrigue her, except for the fact that it had vivid color. Everything was gray, except this one particular store. Everything in the shop had such bright colors. Not only was that unusual enough, but she was also sure wasn't here yesterday. Victoria would remember something like this. No one else seemed to realize that this rainbow of a shop was here. She stood transfixed in a spot, the slow steady pace of the crowd pushing her forward slightly, but she stayed rooted where she was. She knew that she should move on, Ava was waiting for her. Then again, there was bright beaming color in this shop so against her better judgment, she opened the door.
