"Where were you? I thought you died or something" her friend Ava said as soon as Victoria got within speaking distance.

"Sorry, I saw this new shop while walking here" Victoria admitted "I didn't mean to be late, I left on time,"

"Don't worry about it, I was just messing with you" Ava said, patting Victoria on the back

Victoria cowered inward while Ava was doing this, she was never good with physical affection. Touching just seemed too intimate and it made her skin crawl.

"Now come on, I heard that 'Recollect Them All' has a new shipment and I wanna get all the good things before they're taken," Ava declared while pulling Victoria along with her.

"Stop pulling me! You're going to pull my arm off!" she giggled while her shoulder-length black hair bounced around her like a yoyo.

Out of the corner of her eye, she saw a girl staring intently at her. She had a scar running down her right eye which made her look even more intimidating. Victoria assumed that her scar blinded her in the right eye concerting it was white. So what did she do about the weird girl staring her down? She pointed the girl out to Ava to make sure she wasn't going crazy.

"Look. Do you see her or am I going crazy?" Victoria asked

"The one with the scar?"

"Yea, that one"

"I feel like I did something to personally upset her"

"Do you know her?"

"Not one bit"

"Maybe she's waiting for her friend and constantly looks upset?" Ava asked looking over at the girl with a scar over her eye

"Yea, let's go with that"

Victoria looked away from her and started toward the store. While Ava was droning about some book she found, Victoria felt like something flew past her ear. When she looked past her shoulder to try and see what it was, she noticed that the scarred girl was gone.
