Chapter 1

🌼Year: 2005🌼

I came downstairs where I saw dad doing some research which caused me to be very curious. "What is this?" I picked up one of the papers.

"Dean asked me to do some research on some cases that he's working on." Dad let out a sigh.

I glanced at him when I heard Dean's name. "Where at?" I could feel my heart beating fast.

Dad glanced at me as he noticed my reaction. "A small town in Ohio."

"I could help him out on the research so it would be easy." I put the paper down on his desk which dad knew that I care about Dean.

"Kat, I know you both have feelings for each other but Dean is going to try to do everything in his power to keep you safe." Dad grabbed his beer and took a sip of his beer. "You can go help him but you better call me." Dad glanced back at me.

I gave dad a hug then headed upstairs to pack my bag till I heard my phone going off, pull out my phone to see it was Sam that was calling me. So I answer the phone. "Hey Sam. How is college life?"

"Hey Kat. I'm doing good. How you been."

I smiled while putting clothes in my bag. "I'm doing good." As I put some other things in my bag.

"Have you seen Dean or my dad lately?"

"I help your dad on a hunt four months ago and I'm packing up to help Dean with a hunt." I double check that I have everything but I always been in contact with Sam.

"How are they?"

"Still the same." I pulled my phone away from my ear to see a text message from Dean.

To: Katherine

From: Dean

It's good to have to have your help on this hunt. I'm in Red Roof and room number 209.

Okay, on my way.

I was driving and follow the GPS on my phone while listening to music. "It been awhile seen the last time I saw Dean." I thought to myself then remembered what happened last time I saw him as I pulled into the parking lot and saw the Impala. So I park next to Dean, put the car into park, turn it off and grab my bag, got out of the car.

"Kit Kat, it been awhile." Dean was standing behind my car and I glance over but I couldn't help to smiled.

"Well isn't the heartbreaker." I walked towards him as Dean rolled his eyes at me and I was heading to the lobby.

"You can stay in my room." Dean looked at me and it caused me to stop walking then made me turn around to looked at me.

"Are you sure?" I didn't want to because I remember what happened last time and didn't want to make this more awkward between us.

"Yeah. Kat, I know we said some things the last time we saw each other." Dean was trying not to make this more awkward.

I chuckled and shakes my head while rethinking on why I came here. "Let's focus on the hunt." I walked pass him, walked up the stairs and heading towards Dean's hotel room.

Flashback (three months ago)

"Kat, I can't be with you." Dean looked at me while I looked at him.
