Chapter 2

A couple days later (Mystic Falls, Virginia)....

I pulled up to the Salvatore house while trying to understand why they need my help as I turned off my car while Damon walked over to my car as I got out of my car.

"Kat it been a long time." Damon smiled at me and I looked at him. "That's how you say hi to an old friend?"

"What did you guys call me?" I know they did something as Damon chuckles as Stefan walks out. "Hello Stefan." I walked past Damon and headed towards Stefan.

"We need you to protect Elena." Stefan opened the door as we walked in, heading to the living room where Bonnie, Caroline and Elena are at.

"Stefan this unnecessary." Elena looked at Stefan before glancing at me. "You are?"

I chuckle by the way Elena is acting. "Katherine Singer but you can call me Kat." I head over towards them. "Yes this is necessary but I'm a hunter and a psychic."

"You're a hunter?" Elena looked at me like she never met a hunter.

"Yep." I sat down on the couch.

Caroline glances at me. "Thank you for coming."

"So who is going after Elena?" I glanced at Damon and Stefan because I didn't know why I had to protect Elena.

"Katherine Pierce." Damon looked at me and I knew that name as I stood up from my seat.

"Katherine Pierce." I couldn't believe that she would come back to Mystic Falls. Stefan glanced at me so did Caroline and Bonnie.

"I'm guessing you ran into her from a past hunt?" Stefan glanced at Damon and I looked at Stefan with this angry facial expression.

"She killed my friend." I knew that I had to protect Elena from Katherine Pierce. "Yes, I know she is an Elena doppelganger."

"Alright then, it's settled." Damon looked at everyone until my phone was ringing and I pulled my phone out, see it was my dad calling me.

"I have to take this." I walked out, walk outside,answer the call. "Hey dad."

"I see you are in Mystic Falls."

"Yeah. Caroline called me."

"You didn't ask your old man for help?" Dad walk out of nowhere as I looked at him and hang up. He smiled at me as I went to him.

"What you doing here?" I didn't know why he was here but I am happy to see him.

Dad looked over my shoulder which I turn around to see Stefan looking at us. "Stefan called me." He looked at me as I glanced back at dad.

"I guess we have to stay with the Salvatore brothers house." I turn around to face Stefan and Damon.

"Yeah about that." Stefan glanced at dad and Damon had this huge smile on his face.

"While you were saving people. The five of us help you move into your house." Damon walked over and hand me the keys to my new house.

I was in shock by this also happy that I have people in my life that would help me out. "Guys, you didn't have to." I looked at them.

Dad and I went to my house, I got out the car and head towards the house. I put the key in, unlock it and open the door then walked in. Everything was just how I wanted to be then walked into the kitchen as they put all the things that I like in each room.

"We didn't do your room because I figured you want to do it yourself." Dad was happy to see me happy as he looked at me while I walked upstairs and head to my room. As I start to unpack my room, start to my crystal on my dresser, put my clothes away, put couple weapons in secret places just in case.
