(9 year-old Celosia)

In the deep woods near Mount Lema, the tallest mountain in the region, lived a very large, white-furred, moth pokemon and her daughter, a Larvesta. This young Larvesta was Celosia, a very special girl.

The mother and child were sleeping together, waiting for the sun’s warmth to wake them in the morning. The mother had been asleep for a few hours now, but her daughter was still wide awake.

Celosia had plans tonight!

The small bug sneaked out from under her mother’s wing and ran far away to explore the woods. She giggled quietly to herself as she ran away, being able to do whatever she wanted without her mother getting in the way.

“Finally! Mama thinks I am too small to take care of myself...but I am a big girl now! Once I show her, she'll finally let me have fun!” She monologued in her head, determined to show her mother that she could protect herself.

Little did she know, this would be the last time she would ever feel her mother's warmth.

After exploring for a couple hours, Celosia had seen many beautiful things she had never seen before. She could stop worrying about being caught and let cutiosity guide her!

Although...There was a problem...

She spent so much time exploring, that she had forgotten her way back to her mother.

The night had started getting cold, and now that Celosia had seen everything, she just now noticed how dark it was in the woods.

”Mama! Mama, are you there?! I got lost!! Help me!”
The little Larvesta called out, hoping that her mother would come to her rescue, but help never came. She was too far away to hear her baby's crying out to her. She went on and on, but it was no use. Celosia started getting very worried. Her heart was speeding up, and she was breathing heavily.

‘Is she punishing me? Did she forget? Am I not yelling loud enough?’ Celosia thought to herself as tears started forming in her eyes.

As memories of her mother rushed through her head, Celosia remembered what happened the last time she got lost. She stayed right where she was, and her mother eventually found her. She just had to wait for her mother to come looking for her, that’s all! Celosia laid on the ground and closed her eyes, crying herself to sleep.

”Mama...Please forgive me...I promise to be good from now on!"

It was morning now, and Celosia had already woken up. Her fur was really messy, and her tummy was rumbling, but the little bugs felt confident that her mom would come looking fo her.

Celosia had been waiting in that spot for hours, and she was starting to lose hope.

”M-Mama? Where are you...? Do you not love me anymore...?” She murmured as tears started to pour down her face.

She was so hungry...her head is spinning...

THUD!
The little larvesta fell to the floor, her body giving up since she was so hungry.
