July 14th, 1958. 4:25PMA young man wearing a lab coat was walking around the woods, taking pictures of all the different plants and pokemon that he found. He was amazed by every little thing that he saw, and was tempted to bring some of the plants with him so he could study them more.
Eventually, after putting away his camera, the young scientist found a small bug creature passed out on the floor. It wasn't moving, and it didn't seem to be breathing...
The human gasped and ran to the bug, picking her up and placing his ear up to her chest to see if her heart was beating. He let out a sigh of relief once he heard the larvesta's heartbeat.
"Doesn't look like it's hurt..." the scientist murmured to himself, inspecting the pokemon to see if there were any injuries on her "Let's get you back to camp, just to make sure" he said, heading back towards his camp with the small bug pokemon in his arms.
July 14th, 1957. 5:35PM
Celosia woke up to find herself somewhere completely different from where she was before. She seemed to be in some sort of...cave? Maybe a burrow? No...this is too different! The walls were bright orange and light was shining through them like it was magic!
After spending several minutes trying to eat the material on the walls, Celosia noticed a bowl of a very pleasant-smelling liquid in front of her with bits of vegetables floating around in it. Celosia rushed towards the bowl and started eating right away, not even thinking about what the liquid was or where it came from.
Ziiiiiiip
The human had returned, peeking an eye into the tent. His heart melted when she saw her eating so desperately.
"Aww...she must've been starving..." he whispered, wondering what possibly could've had happened to her.Celosia noticed the human watching her and panicked. She tried to drag the bowl of soup but she ended up knocking it over and spilling the food inside. Deciding to leave the food behind, Celosia hid in a corner of the tent, trembling.
"Oh...Sorry..." the human zipped up the tent, feeling terrible for what just happened.
The human sat down near the campfire to pour Celosia another bowl of food, but the he noticed his pokemon partner taking a nap. He has an idea!
"Hey Rufus! Come! Come!" he called out, whistling at his midday lycanroc to get his attention.
The lycanroc's ears perked up and he got up, revealing that he was missing one of his front paws. He slowly walked over to his owner and sat down in front of him, letting out a small bark.
The scientist pet Rufus with both his hands "Who's a good boooy~? Who's my fluffy little monster~?!" He asked in a silly tone, scratching Rufus behind the ears.
Rufus' tail wagged happily, he was very excited to play with his human. He hopped backwards and got into the playing position, wanting to have some fun with his owner.
"Hehehe...we can play later. Right now, I have a little task for you" The scientist said, stopping the petting so Rufus would pay attention.
Rufus nodded, accepting the task. He sat down in front of the human waited for instructions.
"Hehehe...great! So, I need you to go in that tent and keep our bug friend in there company. She feels really scared since this is a new place for it, and she could really use a friend to help her feel more safe" the human explained, pointing over at the tent Celosia was staying in. "So, can you do that for me?" He asked his partner, looking into his beautiful blue eyes.
