You groan as you're walking home from work, your boss was being shitty as usual, making you do overtime, when you clearly can't handle anymore of the work, and your coworker who hasn't been doing anything all day doesn't have to do anything. You sigh, grabbing onto your phone as you check the time to see that it's currently 7:45pm, as you make it to your shared apartment with your boyfriend.

"I'm home!" you say into your almost empty looking home, but as you walk in you're quickly engulfed in the smell of your favourite food. Shutting the door, you peer into the kitchen to see if he's in there. Unfortunately for you, he isn't, as you look over and see him poke his head out of your shared bedroom.

"Ah, Y/N you're finally home!" he cheers, as he wraps his arms around you, entrapping you in a tight, but comforting hug. "C'mon, I made dinner," he states happily as he holds your hand and leads you back into the kitchen.

He pulls out a bar stool, since you both just moved in, and haven't entirely unpacked yet. He grabs you a plate, and places the food on it, as he hands it to you as you murmur a thanks in return.

"So, how was work?" he simply asks, making you come back to reality, saying that you were just spacing out. "My boss kept me for longer than usual again," you said annoyed, "I see, at least you made it home in time for dinner," he says as he places a kiss on top of your head, as he pulls up a chair beside you.

You both start talking about how each other's day went, and what you both did, cleaning up while you did so when you've both finished. "I'm going to run us a bath, yeah?" he asks, as you nod and smile, feeling so grateful for your boyfriend. As he leads you to your and his room so you can get changed.

You shyly walk into the bathroom, as he has already gotten in, as you slowly get in, making sure the water doesn't spill over. You hum in response to the heat of the bath, and the heat of both your bodies. As you both sit content in each other's presence for a while, before he drains the water and turns on the shower so you both can wash off, and get ready for bed.

You, being the first to get out, greet him as you both get into your shared bed. "Thoma.. You really didn't have to do any of this y'know," you say cupping his cheek in your hands, while he leans into your touch. "I know, but I like to know that you're being taken care of Y/N.." he says contently, as he smiles, warming your heart.

As you both slowly drift off, you feel him wrap his arms around you, as he pulls you closer. "Goodnight Thoma."

"Night Y/N, I love you."

"Love you too."
