Stars twinkled all over the night sky, revealing the beautiful home galaxy of Merrea stretching from one end of the horizon to the other.

Though the bustling urban areas of Naries covered this sight due to light pollution, it is still viewable from the inner, less populated parts of the state.

Naries, the largest state within the Federation, is also the first colony to be formed back in 1532. This eventually lead to them discovering even more islands and led them to form an empire, albeit a small one.

However, just before the start of the Great War, Novinae, with the colonies of Naries, Nemoa, Nakao, and the Naokian Kingdom, had formed an imperial federation, a federal union of the colonies now known as states.

After the war, some empires were forced to decolonize. Novinae didn't have to since the colonies were technically states under a union. As a result, Novinae's grip over its former colonies continued on to the present day.

The Novinaes treated the locals well and preserved most of the culture they had, making them happy to be under their rule.

Back at Naries, many people were within their homes, having dinner with their family. This was the case for a particular household within the center of the city.

Sounds of steel clacking with ceramic could be heard as the family sat around a table, eating their meal. A parent along with a pair of twins could be seen on the seats of the table.

As time went on, the twins finished their meal and went to the living room to play with their toys, leaving their parents on the table, almost finishing their meal.

Over at a small window dividing the living room from the kitchen lies a small modern radio. The radio blared to life as it plays the radio station it were set to.

"...Welcome to NariHitz FM, your number one radio station in Naries. Before we got to the topic of news, lets talk about the weather for tonight.

For the Southern and Eastern Provinces, the skies will be clear with a temperature of 21 degrees, while the rest of the provinces will have some light clouds along a temperature of 20 degrees.

Since we got that out of the way, now's the time for news."

The radio then told about the recent news happening within the states like car accidents, press releases from the government and stuff happening in social medias.

The radio then finished the domestic section of the news and went on for the next section.

"Now for the news from the outside, let's start with the recent topic of the Kyri-Myrkian War. Casualties are steadily rising and as of 8:00 PM, the UN had reported that over 1,000 Myrkians have been confirmed dead while the casualties for the Kyrinelians remain unknown.

"As a consequence to the invasion, many Myrkian refugees has started to evacuate from their nation, with numbers of around 80,000 has been recorded to have escaped to other nations. Experts from many nations has stated that this could be one of the largest refugee crisis as time goes on. Kyrinelians has also as of today, occupy the eastern cities of Nykhrov and Zaskiva, mounting casualties on both Myrkian soldiers and citizens.

"Ever since the declaration of the special operation, many companies have shut down thousands of their assets within Kyrinelia. This may take a toll on Kyrinelian economy if the war keeps on going. The UN response to the matter is to condemn the act of war of the Kyrinelian and impose an embargo over many items. Some nations, especially the US and the UK, has shown signs of wanting to send equipments to Myrkia to help in their war."
