brown eyes that saved me from solitude
it was the brown eyes that shone from the glimmer of the sun
that made me look through the soul inside of a man
a man that ends my pursuit of someone to fill the void
a man that came from the earth but live inside an incandescent haven
and he brought me there
to shine and simper
to flee our souls that kinder
those were the brown eyes that took me from the depth of desolation
those, however, were the eyes that wept a flood
for he and i will never be the same
for i claimed him mine, but never his
