Are you a fan of books set in the late 1910's? If so, you will enjoy this book.
This book features Catherine D'Artagne living out her rich yet miserable life.
She is at a ball and then goes off somewhere else and meets a lovely servant boy that is everything she isn't- free, passionate and adventurous- What happens next, changes her life forever.
This book has excellent character development and it was a page turner. Also, the ending is shocking ( I TOTALLY couldn't believe the ending. I HAD to reread it for it to sink in)( not gonna say more because it will be a MAJOR spoiler alert).
Also, even though this book is set OVER 100 years ago but I REALLY relate to Catherine's struggles even though I don't NECESSARILY live a carbon copy of her life. In addition, Mason is SUCH a sweetheart!!
RATING: 9/10 ( the ending mainly)
If you enjoyed the book, I am going to say this for the UMPTEENTH time but don't forget to vote and comment, you will make my day:)
( An annoying hallmark of our age, but SADLY we are attached to the online validation we get)
And DON'T forget to check out her book and comment down below your thoughts about it
