Me: Welcome to my first wonderful one-shot requested by missamerican013 This is a Solangelo one-shot!! My favorite ship!

Jason: I'm so glad you invited me to read! Solangelo is the best!

Nico: Why was I invited, I don't want to suffer through this!

Hazel: You have to be nice Nico!

Piper: Solangelo is so adorable and amazing!! They're so cute all the time! You better have them kiss in the fanfic!

Nico: *blushing* Save me from this Willlll!

Will: I think it will be cute. Just like you!

Nico: *blushing furiously*

Me: Alright, on with the reading!! 

Nico Pov

I was just sitting in my cabin reading a book when Hazel came in.

"Hey, Neeks! You should come to the campfire. It's gonna be great!" She persuades.

"No thanks, I'd rather suffer in here than out there with all the happy couples." I explain while miming a gag.

"You're never going to find your soulmate if you lay in the cabin." She counters.

I think about my soulmate mark on my upper left arm where all soulmate marks are, which just says unknown feelings and sigh.

How am I supposed to find my soulmate if nobody loves me!?

I didn't notice that Hazel had come to sit next to me until I felt the bed go down slightly with her added weight.

"Hey, there is the perfect guy for you somewhere. But you have to put yourself out there! If you don't meet some of the campers, then you'll never know if your soulmate is a demigod." She says to me as if reading my thoughts.

"Fiiiine, I'll go, but only cause you really want me to." I groan. 

"Great now get ready!" She tells me.

"I'm already ready." 

She looks me up and down and replied "Are you sure you want to wear that?" She asks.

I look at my hoodie and jeans. "Of course I do." I respond.

"Alright then, come on, let's go." With that, she grabs my hand and yanks me all the way to the campfire.

We walk up to Hazel's group of friends. I was friends with some of them, Percy who I used to have a crush on. Annabeth, Percy's girlfriend. And Piper who frequently visits my cabin to talk to me.

"Hey, y'all! I convinced Nico to join us for the campfire!" Hazel exclaims.

"Hi, guys." I say quietly.

"Hey, Nico!" Percy proclaims with a hug.

"Hi, Nico." Annabeth says with a wave.

"Hey, Neeks!" Piper greets me with a side hug.

Everyone else says hi and then goes back to talking with each other. Hazel goes over to her boyfriend Frank and snuggles into his side.

I grab a marshmallow and a stick and start walking closer to the campfire.

I was lost in my own thoughts and only snapped out of it when I ran into someone and dropped everything. 

I fell to the dirt and looked up at them with an angry glare. But it dissolved when I locked eyes with the person I ran into.
