Chapter 1

🌼 Y/N's POV🍁

the bus I took for the ride drove into a small clearing lined with pine trees overlooking a small campsite. 

"Welcome to Gravity Falls." I read the sign nearby.

The sky is quite nice, a golden-ish haze settling near the clouds. This summer should be fun, I thought.

"Gravity Falls!" The conductor of the bus I just stepped out of shouts to anyone wanting to get off. 

"Need anything else Missy?" The conductor asked me as I hopped out.

""No, I'm good. Thanks anyway!" I smiled back.

"You know, today's Pioneer Day, you should check out the events they got."

"Cool!" I answered, watching the bus drive into the distance.

I look down at my phone & message my online bestie, she'll be here soon apparently.

[Hellooo, WELCOME TO GRAVITY FALLS!] 

  [Hi to you too!  How ya been & where do you want to meet?]

[I'm good!

[Darn it, I'm sorry, I can't  :( ]

[I just remembered I need to help my bro & grunkle out(mainly grunkle)]

[Sad. But I will see you later today!! Meet at the Mystery Shack?]

[Yes! Once I find it lol]

[I'll send you directions In a mo, but first go find your cabin] 

[Got it!]

After walking for a while, I found my cabin. It looked nice on the outside, overlooking the sunset towards the mountains; The inside is pretty neat too! It's tidy, clean & cozy. What's not to like?

I flopped down on the nearest bed, placed my stuff down, locked the cabin (with the key I was given a while ago) & set out for a little walk around the town.

It's not too bad, sure the people dress a little old-fashioned, but it suits the general vibe you get from the name itself -

"Oof!" I accidentally bumped into someone.

It was a young man, managing to pull off a yellow & black tailcoat, it suited him; with a matching top hat. His golden fringe flopped down across an black eyepatch. He stood out among the passers-by.

"S-sorry! I didn't see you, please don't get mad, I'll just go-"

"Wait!" He called out as I started to pace away, I turned to face him.

"You're not from here, are you?" He asked.

"Aren't we all?" I joked, then silently regretting it. So much for first impressions.

"You must be new here, kid!" He chuckled, "Name's Bill, Bill Cipher, wanna be my friend?" He grinned widely & offered me his hand.

"I have a name, it's Y/N, for your information. but, sure!" I took his hand & gently shaked it, that's the basics to being friendly, right?

I let go of his hand.

"I guess I'll see you around?" I smiled, waving.

💫 Bill's POV🔥

I watched her walk away, smiling to myself.

She seems nice. Not that I'd know what that word means, hah...

Maybe... Just maybe... 

I think I might like this girl, I'm pretty sure I'll see her around again.

Smirking to myself, I whispered,

"Welcome to Gravity Falls, Sunflower."
