The wind blew strong and fierce as I laid there, broken and unable to move. Life didn't flash before my eyes, but my regrets sure did. The pain and suffering seemed minor compared to the heartbreak. Loving someone and losing them is the worst kind of pain. 

Voices gathered around me, wondering if I was on the brink of death. Darkness swallowed me until suddenly, a bright light blinded me. Heaven, perhaps? I wasn't entirely sure I did enough good in my life to quite make it there. 

The light and dark fought over who'd take me. Death wasn't as simple as people made it sound. Lights would shine, and then the darkness swamped me again. After the tug-of-war between light and dark, someone said, "Clear!"
