I woke up. In a somewhat strange, yet very simple void. It was... black, and lifeless. Like a piece of erased time you accidentally slipped into. Maybe that's what it is. Huh. Odd. But that wouldn't be the only odd thing in this place, ohh there's a whole lot more I wasn't ready for.
"What the... Where am I?" Then there was the first thing I noticed. My voice, it was... different from what it used to be. The accent, the pitch, all of it just changed. It's like I suddenly learned and stuck with an accent. This was extremely difficult for me to start with, but I would get more used to this new voice overtime.
"Huh?! What on Earth happened to my voice?!?""I'll be able to answer that first question, but... maybe not the second." Second thing. The voice I heard was similar to mine, that similarity being the accent, but it sounded almost devilish. Was I in this void with a demon? Am I in hell? Am I... dead at all? It was boggling my mind all too easily. It all just sounds like a fever dream, but this was real. Very real. It was as real as you could possibly get out of this. "You're in a void. One that I would now call home. Comfy place, isn't it?"
"W-Who are you?!" I said, seeming very, very scared, with chills down my spine. You'd be able to tell through me stuttering when I spoke just those three words. "And w-what are you doing here?!"
"I could ask you the same thing," The demon replied. "You weren't exactly meant to be here, but I was sort of expecting you here. Though the 'who are you' sort of thing I can answer with a breeze. Although I don't want to confuse you all too much."
"Just let it all out. You'll be fine. I won't really care too much if I get confused."
"You think so?"
"Yup."
"Alright, if you say so..." The demon seemed to stretch its currently-invisible-in-the-dark arms, and attempted to get started on the explanation. But oh boy, I had stepped into something really confusing, far more than I even thought was possible. "Well, I'll sort of be your internal spirit that you're bonded with for just about the rest of eternity. I'm the inner demon. The intrusive thoughts you get from picking up a knife. The one who spins you completely out of control of what you do and what you say, causing some - well - wild events to happen."
"W-Wha-"
"You can just call me Komagara."
"Komagara. Right."
"But it seems you don't need any introduction..."
"What do you mean by that? Do you like... personally know me or something?"
"Well, you're going on the right lines. So, let's see... You must be Komasan. Correct?"
"You hit the nail on the head. It is me. But... how? How do you know my name?!"
"Don't be foolish, I know pretty much everything about you! I'm inside you, remember?" The demon would then approach me, now in physical form, standing on a... non-existant floor.
"Okay, woah. Hold on a second. So you're..." I gesture to it. "the spirit now sealed inside me?" I then gesture back to myself.
"Precisely. And you're standing in my new - endless - home."
"I'm not standing, Komagara."
"Right. My bad. Let me fix that." Then he snaps his fingers, and I then go through an incredibly short - like a split-second - fall to the 'floor'. "There we go."
"Ow... Short fall but the impact still kinda hurts." I'd slowly rub my cheek in slight pain. Then the third thing noticable came to my mind. "Hold on, why do I feel different? Like there's this... huge power inside me?"
"Oh, that I can answer," Komagara replied. "Just look at your right wrist."
Then I bring up to see some watch on my wrist, one of some odd colours. Mint green and crimson red to be precise, or at least that's what it looked like. "It's a watch. What am I meant to do with this? Is this a new Yo-kai Watch model or something?"
"Oh no no, it's pretty far from. The Yo-kai Watches don't really give you this much power. But this Power Watch does."
"That's the name of it? Wow, very creative name." Sarcasm.
"Nice sense of sarcasm. I like that. But each person who has this watch gains a certain specialty of power they're given, like one they use the most. It contains a godly amount of power."
"So... which one did I get? Just out of curiosity."
"Time."
"Heh. Very funny." I'd very quietly chuckle to myself, before realising... "Wait, you're not joking?"
"Exactly."
"Woah. WOAH."
"Figuring you wanna get out of here though, right?"
"Oh yeah, forgot about that. Uhm... How do I do that?" I quickly looked around, expecting some sort of portal to get out of this void.
"Oh, no, you're not gonna find a portal here. You may need to get out exactly the way you came in." Then he pulled out a frying pan. "Hold still while I just really casually knock you out."
"W-wha?!?!" I jumped in shock, but I figured I should comply. "I mean if you say so... Will this hurt?"
"Aww, you're so cute. Don't worry, it'll only hurt half as much. Now hold still."
"Got it..."
Then before I knew it, whack! Straight into unconsciousness.
It took me a while to wake up, and I realised I woke up on a relatively soft surface. Sand? And with the waves coming up to me too. I shifted so that I was face-up, then I saw I was on a beach. Or it seemed that way. Either way, I was back on Earth, and I felt pretty happy about that. But then I look to the right of me and I see another unconscious beong, but it looked like a cat Yo-kai of some sort.
"Who... are you?"
