Brandon pov
It was the next day luckily my dad didn't find out what had happen both me and him were relaxing together in the living room he was watching my mom doing her daily news show while I was on my phone thinking about everything that's happen with Ghostface coming back taras attack Sam's return and it clicks what they want why tara is alive it for Sam they must know who her dad is but how would they know that my thoughts were interrupted by knocking at the door i stand up to answer it and see Sam standing there staring at me I realize I don't have a shirt on and it became a bit awkward between us
Me:umm hey Sam what are you doing here
She snapped out of her trance as she stutters her response out
Sam:umm yeah umm were here to see your dad
Me:and why's that
Sam:you know why Brandon
My lips thin as I knew why they were here
Me:I know but I don't want to let you in
Richie who was also there started to get annoyed
Richie:alright dude how about you just let us in and let the adults talk
Me:how about you mind your business you limp dick loser
He tries to push me but I stand my ground I was about to retaliate when my dad calls
Dad:Brandon let them in
My lips thin as I roll my eyes and let them in they sit down near my dad and tell him about the Ghostface attacks he looks at me seriously
Dad:did you know
Me:yeah
Dad:and why didn't you tell me
Me:I didn't want you to get dragged back into this
He pauses for a moment
Dad:Brandon I know you want to keep me safe but you don't have too I've retired from this bullshit already
Sam:so wait your not going to help us
Dad:no I've been stab 9 times I have a weird limp and it was a miracle that Brandon was born with how injured my body was you think I want to go back too that hell hole
I could see the disappointment in Sam's face as she got up to leave
Sam:dewie we really need you
Dad:and my son needs me too
She walks out the door with Richie as my dad looks around and spots a old picture of him and my mom I realize what's going to happen
Me:your going aren't you dad
Dad:as much as I want to I can't leave this alone
I nod as I listen to him
Me:I'm going with you I don't want to hear any arguments I want to be there to protect you dad
Dad:it should be the other way around
Me:yeah
I quickly put something on as we rush outside to see Sam still there waiting in her car I walk over as she rolls her window down
Me:did you wait for us
Sam:both you and your dad have heroic hearts I knew you come around
I sigh and shake my head know she's right
Dad:so where to first
Sam:Chad just message me saying that there meeting at his and Missy place to talk about it
We nod as me and dad get in his car and drive off with Sam and her boyfriend we make it to the twins house and dad had gone inside and went to greet there mom we all sit in the living room as we discuss what's happen also Sam tells everyone the truth of who her father is and Mindy puts together that this is a requel
Me:so we're in a fanfiction that's so dumb
Missy:ignore him so who our prime suspects
Me:my guess us Amber and limp dick over there
I said accusing them both as they give me a look
Chad:what makes you say that
Me:well I didn't see limp dick when Sam was being attack and amber just seems like enough of a crazed fan to kill people for her real life movie
Richie/amber:fuck you
Me:not interested
Richie:what about you big man you could be a suspect as well
Amber:yeah I mean you have been really suspicious ever since the field trip you suddenly super strong,have really fast reflexes,don't need your glasses, and are really hot now
She says that last part dreamily as we all give her a look and she blushes in embarrassment
Amber:i-ignore that last part
Me:I'll try to forget it
Mindy:but she brings up a good point
Me:I thought you were gay
Mindy:not that you dumbass but you have been really suspicious ever since that field trip
Me:yeah you guys aren't wrong
They all looked shocked at what I said
Me:I'm not going to stand here and denied that I've change really quickly but matter of fact is that I've been accounted for each attack my dad and I were hanging out the night of tara attack when Vince got attack I was with Sam and tara and when Sam got attack I was with tara soo unless you got some good evidence I'm technically the most innocent out of all of you
Chad:well shit he's not wrong there
Amber:well ignoring him I think it was Sam
Sam:WHAT!!
Amber:I mean your sister attacked you just happen to come back after being gone for so long like you even care
Sam:I care for my sister
Amber:yeah that's so convenient that you do doesn't make you any less suspicious especially knowing who your dad is
I see Sam look around for someone to defend her she looks at her boyfriend who says quite and looks hurt by his silence she was about to walk out when I spoke up
Me:I think it's more convenient you try to use her family her problems against her now knowing that no one would probably defend her
They all go quite as Amber looks at me anger and with lust man what's up with this chick and why's my sense going off
Me:well if were done here I'm out
I walk out the house and I hear Sam follow me
Sam:hey Brandon thank you that was really nice of you
Me:it's no problem Sam I know you didn't do it I'm just sorry no one else sees that
I see her smile as she looks down
Sam:yeah me too... Brandon you really have a big heart don't ever forget that
Me:I'll try not to
Sam:so you need a ride somewhere
Me:nah I'm just going to walk around see ya
I said walking off as she gets into her car and drives off I walk around trying to piece everything together I decide I'll try and hack all there phones later feeling lazy at the moment to do so I continued walking when a news van catches my attention the logo seemed familiar I walk even closer when I see her my mother she seemed to be talking to someone when she sees me I try walking away but she unfortunately called for me
Mom:hey Brandon Over here
I keep ignoring her trying to play it off but she catch up to me even in heels
Mom:hey I was calling you
Me:and I was ignoring you
Mom:that was rude
Me:yeah almost as rude as giving your child up to a father who was struggling with his own problem also how'd you recognized me
Mom:that was uncalled for and your dad occasionally sends me pictures to let me see how you've grown
I roll my eyes at her
Me:and why would you care how I grow you left me
Mom:I know I did and I regr-
Me:no you don't
I said wanting to walk away when one of her crewmates walks towards us with some news
Dude:hey gale we just got a report saying that's there's been another killing apparently it was the sheriff and her kid
I was shocked and my mom notice my expression
Mom:did you know them
Me:y-yeah sheriff hicks would visit me and dad offen and I only started recently talking to Wes her kid
My mom pauses for a moment to think about something
Mom:do you want to come with us
Me:are you even allowed to do that
Mom:I'm gale fucking whether's I can do whatever I want
Me:sure whatever
She takes me into the van as we drive off to the location we get there and her crew set up as I walk out and see Sam standing there dazed I was about to approach her when I see my dad and mom talk again I can see them both argue about something so I decide to listen in
Mom:what are you think having our son involved in this shit
Dad:don't give me that gale he was trying not to and tried to stop me from getting involved
Mom:why didn't you send him over to me where it's safe
Dad:he would have never gone willingly if you haven't notice he kinda hates you
Mom:hate me or not I want him safe in my arms where I know some Fucker in a mask can't kill him and take him away from us
I stopped listening after that but u saw my mom and dad hug at the end of it I see Sam confront some officer that were supposed to be guarding tara and she runs towards her cars and my dad follows I run towards them but my dad stopped me
Me:dad I'm going with you
Dad:no your not it's not safe
Me:that's why I'm going
Dad:no that's why your going to stay with your mom look I don't have time to argue just go back to her and will talk later ok
He says as he gets into the car and drives off with Sam leaving me with my mom as she approaches me
Mom:look I know me and you don't have the best relationship but we just want to keep you safe Me and your dad have lost so much to ghost face and if we were to lose you I don't know what we do anymore
Me:thank you I guess for caring even if it's late
I suddenly feel my senses go crazy as my mom looks at myself concerned
Mom:Brandon are you OK
Me:I gotta go
Mom:where are you going
Me:the hospital I need to catch up to them
I said running as fast as possible push my speed faster then I've ever gone I make it there and see Sam's car park I rush inside the building and head for the stairs I use my stickiness to climb the walls and make it to tara's floor faster I rush in and see what I feared the most my dad laying in a pool of his blood dying
Me:DAD!!!
