2 Blond Prodigies

The next day, Naruto was off to the academy and Naruko joined him. He warned her that she'd be behind for enrolling late, but she didn't seem to mind. On their way there, Naruto noticed people were eyeing Naruko, but not Naruto. The 3rd Hokage and the Hyuga clan vouched for him and revealed his heritage, confident in his ability to defend himself against any of his father's enemies who'd try to assassinate him. They thought that Naruko was a demon, but Naruto vouched for her and so she wasn't hated anymore. This just made her love him even more.

Surprisingly, Naruko breezed through the academy. She could use her rinnegan to master most if not all of the techniques she was exposed to just by looking at them. She had a bit of a problem with written tests and such, but Naruto helped her catch up. Kids in the academy were still skeptical of the 2 blondes, but that skepticism vacated the premises when a photo of a shirtless Naruto working out during Gym went viral. He had huge biceps and triceps and a perfect 6-pack. He wasn't flexing on purpose, but he found it uncomfortable to work out in a shirt that would be drenched in sweat. He was cute and a naturally gifted prodigy. In one day, Sasuke had lost his popularity and it all went to Naruto. Naruko was angry that Naruto had so many girl chasing him, but he didn't seem to like any of them. When Sasuke saw Naruko, he immediately liked her. He knew she was friends with Naruto, the kid he hated and he thought they were related due to their resemblance. He walked up to her and assumed that she was a fan girl for him too. "Hey, what's your name?" Sasuke asked. "Naruko. What's yours?" She asked. "Sasuke. Nice to meet you Naruko." He responded. "Nice to meet you too." She said. "Do you want to get lunch after school?" "Sorry, I'm training with Naruto after school." She said scratching the back of her head. "You're training with that idiot after school?" Sasuke asked. "He's not an idiot and if I'm correct, he has better grades than you and he's my best friend." Naruko replied. Sasuke got mad at her response so he walked up to Naruto and punched him. "What the hell is wrong with you?!" Naruto asked when Sasuke punched him. Sasuke tried to kick him, but Naruto caught his leg and used his super speed to knock him in the air and punch him 5 times before kicking him back down.

He landed next to him and saw Sasuke on the ground, unconscious. Sakura then ran up to him. "Are you hurt in any way?" She asked looking Naruto up and down. A part of Naruko wanted to just push her off of him. "Sakura, can you not do that?" He said before backing away. It was then that the bell rang. They had to go to class to find out which team they'd be on. Naruto super sped everyone to their seats, including Sasuke who he wanted to leave out there, but didn't against his better judgement. To his surprise and dismay, he was on teams with Naruko, but also Sasuke. He was glad but also mad to be on his team.

"Everyone, what are your likes, dislikes, and dreams for the future?" Kakashi asked. He was their sensei and was tasked with teaching them how to be a shinobi. "I like training with Naruko and eating ramen. I dislike him." Naruto said before pointing to Sasuke. "And I want to become Hokage in the future." Naruto said. Naruko basically says the same thing, except she wants to be the shadow Hokage and Sasuke was still unconscious.

When they started the bell test, Sasuke woke up, but wasn't able to do much because Naruto used his super speed to yoink the bells right from Kakashi's waist. He was then faced with the predicament of who to give the bells to. Naruto decided to give them to Sasuke and Naruko because he didn't need to be on a team to achieve his dream, but because he showed selflessness, teamwork, and the guts to sacrifice for his team, Kakashi passed them and they became his Genin.

They started out doing odd jobs like rescuing cats from trees and walking dogs. The next time they went to get a mission from the 3rd Hokage(that Naruto referred to as jiji), Naruto requested a harder mission. "Come on jiji, I need some challenge in my life. This is all too easy." Naruto said. "Yeah. All of these "missions" aren't even missions. They're more like errands." Naruko agreed. Hiruzen respected their want for a harder mission so he gave them the Land of Waves to guard Tazuna as he built a bridge. Little did they know, Tazuna lied on the form. He said that the only enemies they might run into were bandits, but they were more likely to run into highly trained assassins.

When they were halfway to the Land of Waves, they were attacked by the demon brothers. "Duck!" Naruto yelled as he saw their attack coming. Everyone crouched, but Naruko didn't hear him that well and was it by the Demon Brothers. In a rage, Naruto kicked them away and hit them with his lightning. They were shocked at his pure ability, but their shock didn't last because Naruto then phased into their chests and ripped their hearts out. Everyone was shocked, but none more than Sasuke as he didn't think Naruto had such abilities. Naruto then noticed Naruko bleeding from her hand. "Are you okay?" Naruto asked when he saw the wound, but Kakashi didn't even have time to wrap it up as her version of Kurama and her speed healing had already healed it.

Before they could continue, Naruto threw a kunai at a bush, thinking it was a ninja, but when he check the bush, he saw it was a bunny. "You dumbass, you almost killed a bunny for no reason." Sasuke ridiculed him. Naruto then shocked the bunny with his lightning, forcing Zabuza to end his transformation jutsu and reveal himself. Naruto kicked him away before looking at Sasuke. "Who's the dumbass now?" Naruto said with a smirk. "Stay back! He's an A-rank missing nin!" Kakashi warned his team. Naruto just looked at him, before he covered his body in electricity. It covered his body and eventually started to spread to the ground. After a few seconds, Naruto threw all of the lightning at Zabuza, immobilizing him. Before they could kill him, a hunter-nin teleported away with him. Kakashi informed everyone that Zabuza could still be alive because the hunter-nin didn't follow standard SOP and destroy Zabuza's body when he saw it. After gaining this information, they continued to Tazuna's house.

When they arrived, Kakashi made them train to control the chakra to their feet and walk or run up trees. Kakashi demonstrated it and told them to train until they did it. Naruto and Naruko did it immediately after Kakashi did it, but Sasuke failed and added too much chakra. He was angry because Naruto was impressing Naruko and he just looked like a weakling whenever they trained or did missions because Naruto always showed him up. He began to train hard to impress her and get strong enough to kill Itachi and outdo Naruto, but it took him all day to make actual progress and he still hadn't mastered it yet.
