Edit: A/N: I also forgot to add in that this is an AU where mutants are normalized
It was now time for Donnie to meet up with Casey. It's just gonna be a normal day of hanging out, or is it..?
Donnie's POV
——————————
It was time to meet up with Casey at the skate park, and I was...excited. Usually, I dreaded going out, but this time- I was excited; I wanted to go.
I got ready and headed towards the lair exit. "Where ya goin'?" I turned around to see Raph, "Oh, I'm heading out now to go meet up with Casey." God...just saying his name makes my heart beat faster.
Raph smirked, "Okay, have fun." I squinted my eye's at him as his smirk grew wider, "Okay?"
I turned back around and made my way to the lair exit.
At the Skate Park
—————————
I made my way toward the skate park and noticed that nobody else was there; nobody else but Casey. I kept my gaze locked onto his back as I got closer.
I kept walking until I was right behind him, I stood there for a second before I slowly leaned into his ear. "...Boo" He jumped forward and yelled, "FUCK!"
Casey turned around to see me cackling behind him. He squinted his eyes as he glared at me, "You're an asshole."
I giggled a little bit more before wiping the tears away from the corner of my eyes.
Casey cracked a slight smile, "Race ya!" He ran towards the bowl. "Hey, not fair!" Of course, Casey won. "Haha, I win!" I crossed my arms, "Yeah? Well, that's only because you cheated."
Casey looked down and snickered, "Well anyway, you brought a skateboard with you, so I take it you at least know the basics of skating?"
I nervously looked down at the skateboard in my hands, "Uh...yes? And, no?" Casey looked at me confused, "What does that mean?"
I turn my nervous gaze to the cement, "I know how to...get on the skateboard-" "But you don't know how to actually ride it?" Casey cut me off. I looked up at him, a nervous grin appearing.
Casey's POV
——————————
"Okay, I'll tell ya what. I will teach you how to skate if you tutor me on some chemistry and math homework, deal?" Donnie looked down slightly, thinking. "Okay, it's a deal."
We both share smiles with each other as I start teaching him what to do."
"Okay well, first things first..."
About an Hour and a Half Later
"There ya go, you've got the hang of it now!" Donnie was finally able to ride the skateboard! And with decent speed too!
"Wow, this is actually pretty easy! Haha!" Donnie laughed- God his laugh is enchanting. Apparently, I had been staring and smiling at him for a little too long, "What? What are you smiling at?"
"Oh, uh- nothing...it's nothing." I grinned nervously. Thankfully he bought it; either that or he was weirded out, and I really hope he just bought it.
All of a sudden, Donnie...Ollied?? "Woah! Dude, how the hell did you just do that? Not even 2 hours ago you had trouble even getting on the board!"
