"Ugh..." Hu tao groaned in her bed, rubbing her eyes. It had been exactly 5 days since Yanfei had broken up with her, resulting in Hu Tao burning out completely. Skipping class, sleeping in. She looked like shit. Massive eyebags, the same, wrinkled clothes from 3 days before, messy hair, messy bed, everything messed up.

"Just one more..." Hu Tao thought before turning around and looking for a rather sharp object. Hm.. That was when Xinyan texted her.

debateclubxx: Hu, you gotta stop moping. Theres a party in an hour and i'm forcing you to go. You've been deppresing for way too long.

"Oh no." Hu Tao murmured five seconds before the door burst open, Hu hid under the covers. The girl walked towards Hu's messy room.
"Get up, now." Xinyan ordered.

"Mh..."

"Hu tao!"

"I'm up, I'm up!" Hu Tao yelled, standing up.

"You're going to that party."

"Fine, you fucking killjoy."

The girl padded off to the bathroom, sorting out her clothes. Oversized ripped jeans, a little oversized t-shirt with long sleeves under it, layered jewelery and some shades. Damn, she looked good. Better than the last days. The girl spotted her razor blade, and couldn't help herself. she took it, a lifeless stare at the razor was met, and she placed it on her arm.

She poorly bandaged her arm and pulled her sleeves back on, little bumps shoving out. She came out and Xinyan rushed her out. TO THE PARTAYYY!

Hu Tao was against the wall, drinking clearly spiked punch. It was a bad idea to go here, and she knew it. The girl put the cup down and started fidgeting with her rings out of boredom. Just then, she spotted some familiar pink hair at the corner of her eye. Oh no. it was Yanfei, thank god she was distracted. Not for long tho, their eyes met and Hu Tao felt her heart rate rise. Her eyes widened and she put her rings back on, grabbed her drink and hurried off to another place in
the span of 2 seconds. Yanfei had a serious look on her face. The crimson-red haired girl took a sigh of relief and looked back at her spot, regretting letting Yanfei leave. But thats over now, time to mope again.

"Fuck.."
Hu Tao whined under her breath, squeezing her eyes in pain. Emotional pain. It was hard to leave such a wonderful girl. It hurt Hu Tao. She backed away till she hit herself to the wall, leaning her head against the wall. The girl hid her face with her hand and took a deep breath to recover.

" Fucking shit."
The girl muttered and walked away to a bathroom with a serious expression. She didn't lock the door, she just came to wash her face and think about her choices. You know, deppresion. Just then, The door opened and Yanfei burst in, locking the door behind her.

"Y-Yanfei? I-"

"What the fuck Hu Tao."
Yanfei raised her voice at the girl.

"Don't shout.. Please, Yanfei.."
Hu looked down a little, avoiding eye contact.

"I have a reason to fucking shout, Tao. First you don't show up to school, ignore me, and now this?!" Yanfei shouted, putting her drink on the counter.

".."
Hu Tao stayed silent, leaning her head against the wall again. She couldn't handle Yanfei shouting at her. After all, she still loves her.

"Hu Tao, talk."

".. Get out, Yanfei."
Hu Tao whispered, now anger in her crimson-red eyes.

"..Wha-"

"I said get the FUCK out."
Hu Tao glared at Yanfei, who had a seriously worried look on her face. She noticed Hu Tao's eyebags, her burn out expression, her previous scars on her hand.

"..Tao have you been cutting?.."

"Ah-.."
Hu tao's eyes widened, but not as much as Yanfei's. Yanfei's anger turned into sadness. Tears welled in her eyes, she covered her mouth.

"..Let me see."

".No way. No fucking way."
Hu tao hid her hands, but to no avail, since Yanfei was far stronger and taller. She revealed some fresh cuts and poorly bandaged scars, her hands trembled uncontrolably.

" Yanfei.!"
Yanfei was frozen, carresing the wounds with her thumb softly. She took some shaky breaths, also about to cry.
".."

"Yanfei, please!.."
Hu Tao sobbed and looked into Yanfei's eyes, swinging her arms away. Hu Tao flinched when Yanfei attempted stepping closer. Hu Tao's breathing hitched, she took sharp, shaky breaths and covered her hands with her sleeves.

"... I want to know how long."

"..."   "It was long before.. us, you know so it- it doesn't matter, Yanfei..."

"What the fuck do you mean it doesn't matter?! Hu Tao i-.."

"Yanfei. Stop it. You broke up with me and I refuse to contact you. Especially like.. This.."

"I can't see you like thi-"

"Then don't! You came in after me, I'm not apologising for shit or stopping this, don't try to convince me... Please.. It'll be better like this.."
Hu Tao said and burst into tears again, turning to a soft voice at the end of her sentence.

"Hu Tao! It will not be better like this! How can you not see that?-"

"Oh i see it!" She replied, sarcastically.

"I love you, Hu Tao. I fucking love you. I couldn't lay my mind off of you and its a good thing i didn't. Please, don't do this anymore.."

"..I.. Can't."

"Tao, Please! I can't see you like this and do nothing. I love you, i love every inch if you. From your eyes, to your body to your stupid little games and to your dumb little childish lifestyle. I LOVE you. Please, don't hurt yourself anymore.."

".."
Hu Tao stayed silent, until she again burst into tears. The girl fell onto Yanfei, holding onto her for dear life. Hu Tao sobbed into Yanfei's chest, repeating.

"..I'm sorry.. I'm so sorry, Yanfei.. I'm sorry..."

Yanfei held Hu Tao in her arms and sat down, adjusting Hu comfortably. Hu was in Yanfei's lap, sobbing her life out.

"Shh.."
Yanfei calmed Hu Tao, rubbing her back and running her hand through the slick strands of Hu's gorgeous hair.

"I'm also sorry. I attacked you like that, just provoked you. I'm sorry. Just calm down, Tao. I'm here."

Yanfei kissed Hu's forehead, still running her hand through her hair.

"Come on, Tao. Lets go home and talk this out tomorrow. You're so tired.. How could i have missed this.. You poor thing."
Yanfei helped Tao up, helping her out of the bathroom and out the building, holding her like she was Tao's saving grace. They earned a few dirty looks, but Yanfei's cold stare fixed everything. The girls walked home and Yanfei tucked Tao into her two-person bed.

"..Yanfei, stay.."

Hu held her hand out, and Yanfei couldn't help herself. She looked so exhausted and done with life. Yanfei took her coat off and snuggled into Tao's bed, under her blanket. She hugged Tao from behind tightly, her hand on Hu's waist. Yanfei heard a few sniffs, and soon later she was dead asleep. Thank the Archons she won't suffer for the next 8 hours. She can peacefully sleep with her lover.
