As they were all eating dinner, everyone kept shooting glances at Dante, not sure what to make of him. Shortly after, Donna and Heisenberg wished them a good night before leaving for their own territories, Donna being escorted by a dozen lycans and dolls, while Heisenberg rode off on a mechanical horse. Once they crossed through the village, Dante, Lady Dimitrescu, and her daughters went to their respective rooms to retire. It had been a long and rather irritating day for Dante, and sleep could only improve his state of mind. As soon as he got under the covers, however, he heard a knock at the door. Groaning, he got up to open the door. To his surprise, it was Cassandra and Daniela. "Can I help you, ladies? It's rather late, and I'd like to get some sleep," he said, yawning as they came in. "We don't know exactly what you are, Dante. That much can be said. But we wanted to know if you teach us to fight," Cassandra said. "Feeling helpless in our own castle, where we're used to being what's feared.... it's embarrassing, having to rely on an outsider." Daniela slowly nodded, agreeing with what her older sister said. Having to hide in her own home.... it was the most vulnerable she'd ever felt. She looked at Dante with pleading eyes. "I know it's not part of the agreement you made with our mother, I'm sure we can make it worth your while."

Dante thought for a moment, perplexed. These two young women had asked something nobody had ever asked him. Everyone he'd ever worked with had always been capable in their own right, but this? This was a chance to steer them down a path, where they wouldn't end up like his brother. Where they could hold their own with confidence instead of running in fear. He slowly nodded his head. "OK, but I have some conditions," he said, looking at both of them. "You get your mother to agree to this. This is something that concerns all of you, not just you two." They both nodded their heads. "And 2, you listen to me no matter what. I'm gonna push you to your limits, and then I'm gonna push you past them. Demons are no joke, even the weakest are more powerful than the average human. Am I understood?" They both nodded their heads. "I'll talk with your mother about it tomorrow, but for now, we all need some sleep. It's gonna be a long day...." He said before showing them out. As soon as his head hit the pillows, he was out light a lamp.

He awoke the next morning feeling refreshed, sitting up and stretching. Soon enough, he heard a knock at the door. He quickly got his shirt on and went to open the door. This time around, it was Bela. "Oh, hey. Bela, what's up?" He asked. "Not much, I came to show you the way to the dining room. I also had something I wanted to ask." He raised an eyebrow, not sure what she had in mind. "What's on your mind, Bela?" He said, inviting her in. She entered, sitting on the bed and looking at him. "I heard about what my sisters asked you last night.... I was wondering if you might be able to train me as well? You saw how bad I got injured -" he cut her off, waving the question aside. "It's no trouble at all, Bela, I had no intentions of leaving you out," he said, chuckling. "I also said I'd have to talk with your mother about this. Is there any chance you can show me to her chambers instead of the dining hall?" She nodded eagerly before grabbing his hand and dragging him along behind her, her lower body exploding into flies that lifted them both off the ground. Before he knee
W it, they'd arrived at Lady Dimitrescu's chambers. Classical music could be heard within. "Well, here we are. Do be sure to knock. She may have taken a liking to you, but she will not stand for disrespect." He nodded in acknowledgment before knocking loudly on the door. He heard a loud set of heels before the door opened. "Oh, Dante, what brings you here so early?" He hesitated before speaking. "I wanted to say thank you, first of all. Cassandra said you offered to pay for the stuff I asked the Duke to deliver. Also, your daughters want me to teach them how to fight. I said I'd talk with you about it." He said, grimacing. He'd never taught anyone how to fight, and with them being nobles, he didn't expect her to say yes. But then again, their wine cellar was shin deep with blood and had zombies down there. She thought for a second before reluctantly agreeing. "After what happened yesterday, I can't blame them. Bela told me how badly she was injured. And as for the arrangement with the Duke, don't worry, he knows better than to cross me." She said, smiling evilly. He didn't know what to make of her at this point. First, she talked about him like he was livestock, then she drank his blood, and now she was dragging him into a rebellion he had no part in. He was kind of irritated, but couldn't deny that he felt something towards her... he didn't know what that feeling was, but kinds liked it. Little did he know that she was thinking the exact same thing.
