Chapter three

They were all ready to get down with the armaments

Just before opening the car door, y/n grabbed Hyunjin's wrist which made him turn back and look at her immediately.

"Babe I'm scared" y/n says with a teary eyes

Hyunjin held y/n's hands tight "we're gonna be completely fine okay?"

Y/n nodded in response

As soon as the men got down their car, they got shot.

"What the fuck" Hyunjin screamed

Y/n was sitting still with a shocked face while the guns were shot on the car doors aiming for y/n and Hyunjin.

"Y/n!! Y/n!! Heyyy!" Hyunjin screams

Y/n couldn't move due to panic attack.

Hyunjin scoffs and quickly slides into the driver's seat quickly driving away from the building where Dexter's men attacked them.

He drives while contacting their men and asked them to not to arrive at that building, instead go to the building directly where Dexter is at current.

Y/n listened to the conversation and panicked more "Hwang Hyunjin! Are you out of your bloody mind?"

"Y/n please" Hyunjin says frustratedly

"Oh my god! We were inches away from death and you want to get closer?" Y/n says

Hyunjin sighs "No one will attack us in the building where Dexter is. It will cause him danger as well. Use your brains y/n"

Y/n fake laughs and rolls her eyes.

-time skip-

They both finally arrive in the car alone while all others arrive.

"Y/n let's go" Hyunjin says

"I'm not coming" she replied

Hyunjin fake laughs to hide his anger " fine! Do whatever you want love."

As Hyunjin walk inside the building all his men surround him to protect him.

They see a woman in her mid twenties wearing a halter dress. She walks towards Hyunjin while the men blocked her way.

Hyunjin raised his arms and signalled them to move to let her in.

She walked with a flirtatious smile while Hyunjin looked at her eyes with a straight face.

She traveled her fingers from his cheeks to his lower abdomen "you must be that hot mafia from NYC" she whispered in his ear while cupping his cheek.

Hyunjin kept staring at her with a straight face with slightly raised eyebrows.

"You perhaps are very hot" she said while walking around him with her hands on his chest.

She stood in front of him with her both her hands wrapped around his neck "so Hyun-"

*Banggg* sudden sound of a gun shot which took everyone's attention.

Someone shot the woman on her forehead.

Everyone immediately turned back seeing y/n holding the gun from one of the men's hand aiming at the woman's head.

Y/n walked towards the elevator crossing Hyunjin who's holding the dead woman in his arms which makes y/n turn back and push the woman off Hyunjin's arm.

Y/n immediately walks back towards the elevator followed by their men and Hyunjin who's having a proud smirk on his face.

As soon as they enter the huge escalator, Hyunjin places his arms around y/n's waist making her pull away as she's terribly mad at him for putting everyone's lives in jeopardy.

They entered the first floor which is dark, empty and silent until someone noticed a laser beam and one of their men fell.

"Everyone! Down! Now!" Hyunjin screamed "shhh! Keep quiet" He said before anyone could say anything.

After few seconds, another beam of laser hit their men causing him death.

" sir! This is a trap. If we don't leave now, our lives will get into trouble." A men whispered

"Let's fucking leave" y/n said with anger

Everyone crawled back into the elevator. As soon as everyone reached the ground floor, Dexter's men started shooting everyone.

A bullet almost hit y/n before one their men took it for her leaving her traumatised.

"Alex!" She cried kneeling down near his corpse

"Y/n get up! We need to leave immediately. Come on!" Hyunjin said while y/n was still sitting there with tears and no words.

Hyunjin immediately lifted her in his arms and carried her to their car without any injuries.

"Come on! Quick! Start the engine." He shouted

After few seconds of travelling without any gunshots Hyunjin leaned back on the car seat with a huge sigh. He turned to his left to see y/n sitting with a cold face.

He placed his palm on her thigh "Hey! Baby, I'm sorr-"

"Shut your mouth" she said while pushing his hand off her thigh.

Hyunjin turned back clenching his jaw.

-time skip-

They reached their mansion they own in the Wilmington suburbs which is not their favourite place as they already have a beef with a gangster in that place but as they had a work in one of their warehouse in Wilmington, they had to stop by.

As soon as y/n and Hyunjin entered inside the room, he pulled her close to him making her push him away.

Without a single word, they both go to sleep.
