Chapter seven

Y/n woke up feeling something on her neck. She looked down at Hyunjin's blonde head.

"Have you not left enough marks already?" Y/n chuckled making him look up at her immediately.

"You're awake finally." He pecked her lips and got up.

As soon as he got up, she covered herself with blanket going back to sleep.

"Babe!" He rolled his eyes "we're already late. We need to leave. We have so much work."

Y/n immediately uncovers her face raising her head looking at Hyunjin "work? But it's weekend and you promised me that you'd take me on a date. Remember?"

He leaned down caressing her hair "I do remember y/n darling but-"

"No buts. You've been overworking these days and I hate it. I need you to get some distraction." She pulled up the blanket again.

Hyunjin let out a sigh and walked inside the bathroom to take a shower.

Few seconds later y/n got up and walked inside the bathroom undressing herself.

She opened the shower cabinet looking at Hyunjin's back, both his palms resting on the wall below the shower. She back hugged him slowly making his head fall back. Both of them were completely wet now.

Hyunjin turned back and kissed her passionately and rested his forehead on hers after breaking the kiss. They both kept eye contact few seconds while the cabinet was filled with steam from the water. Hyunjin's eyes were filled with thoughts.

"What are you thinking?" She asked wrapping her arms around his neck.

"I can't really take you on a date this weekend sweetheart." He said softly and sorrowfully.

She loosened her grip on his neck and looked away from him letting out a huge sigh of disappointment.

She looked at him clenching her jaw slightly and walked away but he grabbed her wrist. "Y/n listen to me."

"No! What are you gonna tell me huh? The same shit right? I'm so tired of listening to it." She twisted her wrist to pull it away from his grip and walked out of the shower cabinet.

Few minutes later everyone got set to drive back to New York. Y/n tried to avoid Hyunjin and got into a different car without him knowing.

Hyunjin got into the car and saw y/n nowhere. He asked his men but they didn't know. He looked inside other cars and found y/n in one of them. Hyunjin sighed and fake laughed. He got into the same car where y/n was seated. Y/n didn't even look at him.

"Seriously? You're avoiding me now just because I didn't take you to a silly date?" Hyunjin asked.

Y/n fake laughed "wow." He looked at him "A SILLY DATE? You don't even remember that it's my birthday tomorrow. Do you?"

Hyunjin's eyes widened as he was about to cup her cheeks. Y/n pushed his hand away before he could touch her.

Y/n turned towards his opposite side facing the window while Hyunjin leaned back against his seat looking at her.

As soon as they reached home, Hyunjin had to leave "y/n let's go."

"I'm not going to work today. I'm sorry. I don't feel like it." Y/n removed her coat and jumped onto the couch.

Hyunjin pressed his lips and nodded "whatever." He left.
