Ronnie's POV

There she laid, the woman of my dreams. She laid on her stomach on the couch, her knees bent and her feet in the air. I sat next to her, rubbing her back as we watched the news.

"Coming up next: Singer Ronnie Radke awakens from a fourteen year coma." The man spoke. I began laughing, watching as Kelsey giggled.

"People are actually believing that??" I asked.

"Yeah," she started, "it's all over social media."

"I can't believe that's what they came up with," I laughed.

"Everyone seems to be happy," she said, "you should make a comeback for your fans."

"Eh," I s started, "I don't know."

"Why not?" She asked.

"It's been so long since I've even thought about doing music again, I don't know if I even want to."

"Well," she sat up, "that's up to you." She leaned over to me, giving me a kiss. God, I loved her.

Suddenly, my arm began to burn, making me cry out in pain.

Kelsey's POV

Ronnie screamed, clutching his arm. "What's wrong?" I panicked.

"He's calling," he looked at me, his eyes full of worry.

"What? Who?" I rubbed over his arm, trying to soothe the pain.

"Ah!" He yelled, squeezing his eyes shut. He grabbed both sides of his head, shaking it. Suddenly, he stopped.

"Ronnie, what the fuck is happening?" I asked, grabbing onto him.

"Satan, he wants to speak to us," he answered.

"Why were you in pain?" I touched his cheek.

"I don't know, it never normally hurt when he called, maybe because I'm human now," he shrugged. "We need to go see him."

"We?" I asked, scared.

"Yes, he said both of us," he grabbed my hand, "told me he'd let me transition one last time."

"Transition?"

"A demons way of teleporting in and out of hell," he answered.

I nodded.

"We need to go now," he stood, grabbing my hand. "Now, when we get there, don't look at anyone, don't talk to anyone besides him, and try not to be scared; you'll hear a lot of screaming."

I nodded quickly. He pulled me closer to him before he closed his eyes. I felt movement, making me shut my eyes. I held onto Ronnie so tight, digging nails into his bicep.

"Kels, we're here," he shook me. I slowly opened my eyes, seeing red surrounding us and hearing tortured screams. I looked at Ronnie who wasn't fazed by any of this. "Let's go," he said, holding my hand.

We began to walk on cracked pavement, fire below us. I was sweating from nervousness and the heat. I moved closer to him as we walked, mentally begging him to pull me closer.

We approached a big, worn down building that looked something like a cathedral. Where the stained glass windows would be was replaced by broken glass. Where the cross would have been remained an upside down cross covered in what seemed to be blood. I swallowed the lump in my throat.

Ronnie pulled me inside where I saw him sitting on his throne. The creature was big, red, and angry. I kept my head down, Ronnie walking us right up to him. When we reached him, Ronnie stopped walking, pulling me closer to his side.

I looked up at the creature who looked angry. He glared at me, sending chills down my body.

"You we're supposed to kill her, 1583," he spoke. Ronnie just nodded. "You betrayed me for a human." Ronnie nodded again. "You sacrificed your own life for hers." Ronnie looked down. "How dare you?" His voice boomed. "You'll be sent to the cages immediately."

"No!" I cried, grabbing onto Ronnie's arm. Two demons approached us, gripping the other side of Ronnie. "No! I'll take his place!"

"Stop," he spoke to his demons.

"Please," tears rimmed my eyes.

"You've really found your One," he spoke.

"Yes," Ronnie replied, "and I love her." He pulled me close to his side, making me smile.

"Then I guess there isn't much I can do here, you've followed the rules and now you're human." He thought for a moment. "You may go."

"Thank you!" Ronnie grinned, grabbing my hand before we transitioned.

We appearing in my living room, Ronnie and I's fingers laced together. We turned to each other, both of our chests raising quickly. I pulled his head to mine, hugging him.

"It's over," he whispered, rubbing his hand up and down my back. I nodded, squeezing him tighter.

Tears brimmed my eyes, partly from the traumatic event I just experienced and partly from how much love I had for the man in front of me.

"I love you," I said, kissing him.

"I love you, Kelsey."
