A Miracle

Lisa woke up and rubbed her eyes as the light from the sun slowly lured her to consciousness.

She glanced beside her and found the bed missing a certain man. She sighed and got up. She took a shower and sat back down.

Just then, the door opened. Indicating the arrival of the man. He had bags under his eyes from the torture he had to endure that night.

Lisa giggled slightly but immediately stopped when she felt the man's cold gaze on her. If you're wondering, nothing happened yesterday. Jungkook had yet to put it in when her period arrived.

The man was soo... 'Trusfrated' to the extent that he almost spat out blood.

The heat in his body kept burning, especially since he had inhaled the aphro-scented room. The effects lasted long. The torture was unbearable, yet he was forced to endure it. It was perhaps the first time he felt the universe was against him.

He did not sleep, but that was not the case. He was used to staying up late and even working without sleep but it never affected his outward appearance. But yesterday was a different case altogether, he had to endure the pain of his stiff 'brother' who was angrily demanding release.

Yet that girl, Lisa, she fell asleep without any care in the world that her husband was suffering.

Lisa sighed, as expected Jungkook held a grudge.

He smiled cunningly as he approached her. Lisa, filled with confidence and smugness had the audacity to wear revealing clothes, she wore a crop top paired with blue jeans shorts.

"How was your night?" Jungkook's handsome eyebrows twitched at the question, was she really asking him that? She's got some nerve. Just then, it seemed as if karma had arrived.

Lisa immediately frowned and held her lower abdomen. At first she used to hate her period a lot but now it was just so so.

The disadvantage was the pain and discomfort it made her feel, but on the bright side it prevented the man from making any moves. Her face became pale and contorted in pain.

Jungkook noticed this and sighed, he'd known this will happen. Just then he went out and came back five minutes later with brown sugar water. She was flabbergasted at first but accepted it and drank. It helped ease the pain.

She then followed the man out of the hotel.

Jieun woke up, feeling sore all over her body. She immediately wore her clothes and ran out. 8 minutes later, Mingyu opened the door and expected to see Lisa in bed with another man but what he saw was an old man lying on the bed, snoring like a bear.

He angrily shut the door he was confused, angry, frustrated, why hadn't she taken the bait?

Jieun went home and cried her heart out 'Lisa I will make sure you suffer a fate worse than death.'

She bathed over and over again hoping to scrub off the old man's touch and scent. Her lower body was in pain and she struggled to walk, she laid on the bed and took out her phone.

She made a call. A few seconds later a man's voice could be heard, she burst into tears and told him everything. "That slut dared to raise her filthy hands on you? She messed with the wrong girl".

Lisa was carried bridal style into the house by Jungkook. He was surprised she didn't throw tantrum as she would normally go ballistic when touched by him. Instead, what he received were soft scolding and a gentle hit on the chest, followed by a blushing and shying face that attempted to be buried in his chest.

The maids felt they were hallucinating. Did the sun rise from the west? Did God submit to satan? Did the earth stop rotating? Did that planets stop revolving around the sun? Did the sun start rotating? Did the earth become flat? Did Jesus sin? Did time start going anti-clock wise?

A maid nearly tripped over a carpet. Jungkook did not blame them for anyone in their right state of mind would at least be surprised.

"Jungkook, they're watching put me down I can walk" Lisa whispered hoping the man would listen to her but boy was she wrong, she couldn't be more wrong.

When they arrived, he placed her on the bed. She went to sleep almost immediately.

Lisa woke up and checked the time, it was 5:55pm she sighed and got up she went to the bathroom to freshen up then went downstairs.

"Good evening Miss-" "Mrs. Jeon" the old maid was surprised "Call me Mrs. Jeon" the old woman then smiled happily.

"Good evening Mrs. Jeon would you like to have dinner?" She nodded and started looking around searching for her hunk.

Aunt Fu, the head maid, noticed this and smiled. "The boss has gone for a business trip outside the country."

When Lisa heard the news it felt as if a bucket of cold water had been dumped on her. Slowly but surely, Aunt Fu witnessed the girl's face change from curiosity to sadness.

She looked as if she was on the verge of crying. There were only four people in the house. Lisa and three other maids who were not less than 40 years old.

"H-How long will he be gone?" She stuttered, her voice shaky. Aunt Fu was slightly taken aback.

Lisa was usually over the moon when the man was nowhere in sight but it seemed that her attitude had changed. 'Perhaps it's because of the alcohol?' The maid thought but dared not speak.

They were in their respective houses when they received a call from Lisa to come back home, they first thought they were being scammed but later they were surprised to learn that it indeed was the lady boss.

They came back and found the house empty. They cleaned the house and went to bed after being informed by Jungkook's assistant that they wouldn't return home, and in the morning, they were greeted by the sight of Jungkook carrying Lisa into the house. It indeed was a miracle.

"The boss' assistant said he'll be gone for 2 weeks" just then, Lisa cursed and continued to curse sleep. If she'd known he'd be traveling, talk about sleep she wouldn't have dared to blink. She would have put her time and energy into spending time with him and making him dote on her.

2 weeks was too much she hasn't even started with her plan yet because of her period and now he's gone?

How is she supposed to tame him like this? What if he meets other beautiful women in the other country? A fortnight is more than enough for a bunch of leeches to leech on to him.

Just the thought of that, the girl nearly pulled out her hair. 'Humph he'll be back then I'll show him who's who'.
