Lisa's Cousin

Jieun laid down in bed, laughing maniacally when she received news of Lisa's accident.

"Hahaha, served her right, such a b*tch. She deserves to die," she laughed maniacally, her beautiful face full of viciousness and malice.

*Ding Dong*

Her laugh stopped abruptly, she furrowed her brows in confusion. She wasn't expecting anyone, especially since it was raining heavily, she stood up and walked towards the door, the moment she opened it, her beautiful face was in shock.

A beautiful woman stood there with long blonde hair sticking to her body due to being wet. Her whole body was soaked but her eyes looked ready to kill. Without wasting much time, she grabbed Jieun by the hair and began to slap her mercilessly.

"Ah!"

She called out in surprise as she collapsed on the ground, she looked up in shock.

"Why? Why are you doing this?"

The woman asked her.

"Why?! Why?! It's all her fault, it's all her fault mom!"

She shouted at her mother, her face swollen from all the slaps and her eyes welling up in tears. "Why do you take her side?! It's because that b*tch and her mother that uncle died!"

"Enough! Just shut up!"

Just as her mother raised her hand to give her another slap, a group of body guards showed up at the door and grabbed Jieun by her arm, without another word, they dragged her away as she began kicking and screaming.

"What are you guys doing?! Let me go! Who are you?! This is illegal! I'm going to call the cops! Mom help!"

"Jieun! Stop please, my daughter, someone help my daughter!" The woman run after them and clung to them with all her might but the men didn't stop, they all donned black suits with masks on their faces.

Due to the downpour, there weren't many people on the street as they had all seeked shelter from the rain, the mask made it impossible for her to decipher their faces. All her screams were drowned in the heavy rain.

Her heart was heavy as she helplessly watched her daughter being kidnapped. She broke down in tears and began to sob her heart out. She quickly wiped her tears once she remembered something important, the car had no plate number.

It is illegal to not have one but only one family seems to be an exception to this law.

She quickly got into her car and began to drive towards the hospital.

"Hello ma'am how may I help you?"

"I'm here to visit a patient called Lisa, Lalisa Manoban."

She panted, her whole body drenched. The receptionist was taken aback by the woman's beautiful face before quickly complying, she felt sorry for the beautiful lady.

'This Lisa girl must be very important to her.'

The receptionist looked through the list twice and her brow furrowed in confusion, "I'm sorry ma'am but there's no one named Lisa on the list."

"What?! B-But..."

"What's going on here?"

A stern voice was heard.

The women turned their heads and saw a handsome man in a doctor's coat approaching them.

"Dr. Jin!" The receptionist stood and blushed as she looked at him.

"I asked you a question," her face turned pale and she stutteringly replied, "S-She was looking f-for a patient named Lisa, however t-there's no one-"

"Come with me."

He looked at the drenched woman before walking away, she was stunned for a while and quickly run after him. They passed through a very secretive place, there was no one in sight till they reached their destination, this place was even more luxurious and fancy. The man stopped in front of a door, he took a deep breath and stepped in.

The moment the door opened, she saw a handsome man sitting on a chair with bloodshot eyes, his whole appearance looked desolate and his face was covered in subtle, his face was pale, his bones where a bit sharper due to his weight loss and his baggy eyes were devoid of any emotion, it seems that all the vitality was sucked out of him.

She was shaken to the core at the mere sight of him.

"Jungkook, this woman came looking for Lisa."

Jin spoke carefully as if he was treading on ice.

The blonde lady then looked at the girl on the bed, she had on an oxygen tube and her face was deathly pale, her lips looked purplish and she was breathing lightly, almost as if the next breath would be her last.

Jungkook didn't even look their way and still focused on his wife's comatose state.

The blonde woman was stunned by the resemblance and in a moment of shock whispered.

"M-Momo?..."

Jungkook's eyes shot open, he immediately turned his head and looked at the woman in front of him with intensity and suspicion.

"How do you know that name?"

Jungkook hasn't spoke since Lisa's accident three days ago, his voice was hoarse and he felt a bit weird in his throat.

The blonde woman was taken aback. She looked at him for a moment before answering, "S-She's was my s-sister-in-law."

Jungkook was taken aback for a moment before frowning.

"Does that mean..."

"Yes, Jieun is Lisa's cousin."

Jin furrowed his brows, the door opened and Jimin along with Taehyung entered, they both had shocked expressions on their faces. Apparently they had both heard what she said.

"What is your name?" Jungkook inquired.

"Jung Krystal."

The men furrowed their brows, Lisa's father was called Jung Hoseok.

"My father was Korean and my mother is swedish. My mother's family initially did not want to marry my mother off to my father, but since my father was filthy rich back then, they immediately agreed. My elder brother and I were soon born. Since he was the heir to the vast fortune they kept pressuring him into marrying and giving birth, of course, the ladies they chose were handpicked by them. My brother rejected, knowing full well it was all a scheme."

She took a deep breath and continued.

"He went to Japan for a business trip where he met Lisa's mother, Momo, they got married which thwarted my maternal family's plans, coupled with the fact that Momo refused to partner up with them made them even more furious."

Her voice cracked and her eyes began to sting as tears threatened to spill.

"During Lisa's third birthday, house unexpectedly caught fire. Lisa was saved but my brother... and my sister-in-law..."

She covered mouth and sobbed silently.
