Scarlett POV:

I got into my car after the workout. I stayed there for almost two hours. Since the sparring with  got interrupted by someone, I worked out alone. I didn't see him anymore. For good. Though, I do feel better after the sparring. I needed that.

Before I started driving, my phone rang. It was Lando. It's been a few days since we spoke. He has been acting weird and I was busy for a specific reason. So, it kind off surprised me that he called me. But I was also excited to see his name on my screen.

"Hello?"

"Hi Scar, where are you?"

"Just wanted to drive home. Finished with my workout today. Why?"

"Oh, I thought we could meet up for a few games. We didn't really talk to each other in the past few days."

"Sure! Just let me drive home, take a shower and I'm there."

"You could also shower at my place, that's no problem. I got a bunch of your stuff here anyway."

I let out a laugh and put on my seatbelt.

"Alright, I'm coming to your place, since you want to get rid of my stuff."

"Good, because sometimes I don't know if the clothing belongs to me or you."

"Fine, fine. But be a good friend and prepare my favorite drink. And something to eat, I'm starving."

"Aren't you the mom in our group?"

"Yes I am, but I raised you to be a caring, friendly boy so do as I say, will you?"

"On it, see you in a few minutes."

I ended the call and started driving then. When I was leaving the parking spot, something caught my eye. To be more exact, someone. It was a man wearing a full black tux. He was wearing glasses too. That's weird. It's almost June and it's getting warmer everyday. Also, why would someone wear that outfit in a box club? What's his mission here?

But I only ignored the guy and left the parking spot. Time to meet up with Lando.

When I arrived at his place, we greeted each other with a hug. I noticed how he stared at my hair the  whole time since I got there.

"What are you making us?"

"Wraps. You loved it the last time, so I decided to make it again."

"Oh, look at that. Lando is mature now." I let out a laugh to which I only got an eyeroll as a response.

"Alright then, I'll be in the bathroom. Also, Lan. You can just tell me that the hair looks great."

"Fine. It does look great. Now go shower before I have to open all windows because of you."

Laughing, I disappeared into the bathroom. When I closed the door, I remembered that I forgot to ask him for a towel and my clothes. But then I noticed something on the sink. Towel, fresh clothes.

Everybody needs a Lando in their lives.

After the shower, I cleaned everything and dressed up. Then I took a look at the mirror. Instead of having the feeling of being sick, I felt great. That's rare.

I felt more confident and stronger. It was like a different person stared at me.

Leaving the bathroom, I could smell food. My stomach growled in response. Yeah, I'm hungry.

I went to the living room where Lando just finished with preparing the table.

"Oh my, that looks delicious."
