History/Quick backstory: Mara was born in a remote village. She was the only one born with magic, so she was deemed cursed. And...the title wasn't exactly wrong, just not in the way they meant. She was only seven when she first used her powers. That first attempt revived a dead cat that followed her until the magic wore away. Since then she was a freak, forced to flee for a village where she could blend in. She lived in hiding, concealing who she was and what she could do for decades. Eventually she would find her pet raven who she named Diablo. It's only now that she can live freely, with less fear and judgement.
