➸ Note taken: flying in the rain is very much aesthetic but very much DANGEROUS without the safety net of a thick, plastic raincoat to keep you dry.
➸ Seriously, you live in a world with magic, surely you could've found some way to do it and keep dry.
➸ Imelda would immediately laugh that you got the common coldand not something more dramatic like Hippopox.
➸ You ask her if she had that since she was walking around the school with the face of hippo and not being privy of it.
➸ That shuts her up and you sort of feel bad and make a note to apologise later.

➸ Garret would offer to make you potions
➸ Natty decides against it and escorts you to your common room for a day of rest.
➸ "Lucky it's the weekend for the weakened," Amit would say, and you'd laugh at his pun, "You won't miss out on any work!"
➸ Yeah, lucky.
➸ You let everyone know that you're fine and won't need any pampering and that they should go on about their day and enjoy their weekend
➸ It was a gorgeous, sunny but breezy day outside. Perfect for an outer leisure day.
➸ Poppy had to be pulled out of the room, forcibly by Sebastian and 2 others
➸ That girl has willpower
➸ She totally made you a care package hours later
➸ But...we're forgetting someone here. Hehe. There was one person who would just know how you were really feeling and decided to come over and keep you company, knowing you would appreciate it and would be too selfless to ask for it.
➸ Professor Black.
➸ Kidding! It's our boy Ominis of course. 🥰
➸ "Didn't I tell you not to go and do that stupid water sports thing yesterday?" he'd roll his eyes as he walked in with Poppy's care package and a bag of various medicines and alleviants.
➸ "Didn't I say that you can't tell me what to do and promptly did the said thing?"
➸ "And look at you now, sick and dying on the bed in front of me. I'm not really sorry to say that you had this a long time coming."
➸ You humph, but inside you were greatly relieved someone was there to spend the day with you.
➸ You were so hot and sweating that Ominis opened the windows and got you a wet ice pack for your head
➸ Then you were so cold that he grabbed you a blanket and made you a hot, creamy, chocolate drink (or your favourite warm drink)
➸ He spent the day playing games with you and just talking. He helped you with chores and aided you when you needed him
➸ He SPOILED you
➸ And secretly, he enjoyed caring for you so much
➸ "Y/n, take these pills, it's 3 o'clock."
➸ "No, you can never make me."
➸ "I'll kiss you if you do?"
➸ "I am a changed person."
➸ When you were groggy and sneezing, he would grab you tissues and make sure your bed was comfy
➸ Husband material
➸ Literally you were having thoughts of marriage
➸ He opens Poppy's care package and you convince him to do some of the things in it with you
➸ By the end of the evening he had a rejuvenating and plumping face mask on with serum, pretty nails, various lip products and the most decked out necklace made out of rubber bands in the world
➸ He'd also tried a bunch of your favourite snacks!
➸ You guys would watch a documentary that was funny and interesting
➸ He'd massage you if you needed and would tie up your hair
➸ He's just so gentle and sweet
➸ You would've had headaches, an uncomfortable space and grogginess at the start of the day but by the end, you felt more invigorated and overall at ease
➸ You would beg him not to leave and find every excuse to keep him there
➸ "Bro I don't know how to take pills I would die."
➸ "Y/n you just put things in your mouth."
➸ "I think I am paralysed."
➸ "you are probably not".
➸ "OH NO OMINIS I THINK I HAVE FIREPOX,"
➸ "What even is that."
➸ "I AM BURNING"
➸ "You are catastrophising."
➸ "I am living on borrowed time."
➸ "Yes. It is mine. Please give it back."
➸ "I am a bedridden one now."
➸ "An idiot is what you are."
➸ Eventually you would say your very teary goodbyes
➸ "Bye Ominis. If I never see you again and this disease takes me. Just know I care for you and appreciated you very much. Y/n sent you their kindest regards."
➸ "Don't talk in the past tense and refer to yourself in the third person or I will really make this the last time I ever see you."
➸ He really did care about you though, and he would've stayed if you really wanted him to, but you were just joking and was very appreciative of everything he did today
➸ He did in fact stay for 10 extra minutes before he was required to go back to his dorm and you smiled, giving him just a normal but appreciative goodbye
➸ Before he left you waved him over and planted him a kiss on his cheek
➸ "Thank you so much, Nis. I really, really appreciate what you've done for me today. I feel so much better now," you smile, placing your hand on his cheek.
➸ "No worries at all y/n," he smiles back and holds your hand, giving it a tentative kiss on the back before bringing it back down above your blanket.
➸ He propped a few of the remaining items and medicine you needed up on your bedside table before waving goodbye
➸ Rest assured, you were right as rain the following morning (only just a tad bit woozy), happy to spend a beautiful Sunday with the rest of your friends on a very lovely day
