After the long drive, the bus finally came to a stop out of the school you'd forgotten the name of. Immediately when you took a step on the ground, your legs spiked with pain but you couldn't focus on that for too long as Yukie pounced on you.
"YUKIE GET OFF HER!" That was Kaori's voice for sure. She pulled Yukie off you and the three of you chatted while carrying your bags to the gym. Did you bother waiting for your team? No.
As you ascended up the steps, Hana appeared at the top of them looking down at the three of you. She waved happily and cupped her hands around her mouth. "Hey, Y/n!" She said.
"Hiii Hana!" You yelled back, a little out of breath because damn those stairs. "Hows Makki doing now?" She asked. "He lived! Kyotani didn't kill him!" "Aw, that's good news!"

In the gym, you greeted many people since this was the first time ever meeting most of them in person. Some of them such as Yams were different than online. He came across shy but it didn't bother you, you thought he might just need to get a little comfortable first. "Hey," you said to your team. "No one break anything, no one start any drama. Be warned, because I did bring the paintball gun." They all nodded.
"Yachi!" Kaori jogged over and joined you and Yachi who were watching your teams verse, but you hadn't thought to ask the very obvious question Kaori was about to. "Where the heck are Hinata and Kageyama?" She said and sat down. "Oh," she laughed. Yachi tucked a piece of hair behind her ear and explained how they had both failed one of their exams and had to do a retake, but they'd make it.
The three of you kept watching the game. It remained close throughout the two sets until Aoba Johsai got the upper hand thanks to Oikawa's serve. "Shit," said Kaori. "It's really scary to see him in person." You hummed in agreement. "He works really hard," you said, and he really did. "I can tell. Imagine getting hit by that thing?" Yachi shivered. "We'd open our eyes and just see heaven." "Haha! Would Morgan Freeman greet us?" "Yes."
