Hanni rubs her eyes so harshly while sighing when she sees the girl named Kim Minji approaching her once again for another stupid reason. Well it's not really a stupid reason. She found out that this girl is the class monitor and also the top student of this class. She couldn’t believe it because this girl looks so goofy and doesn’t really give off a serious vibe at all. How can a person like her be the class monitor and a top student? And she kept approaching Hanni from the 1st period for doing a bunch of co curriculum and stupid activities which are mandatory for this school. And obviously Hanni is so stressed out and annoyed already.

"So you need to join at least two clubs" Minji says, putting the clubs' papers in front of Hanni.

"Two? Why not one?" Hanni frowns.

"I don't know. I don't make the rules anyway" Minji shrugs.

Hanni sighs and takes the paper documents from the desk to read it. She has no idea why she needs to join some stupid useless clubs which will not be useful for her in future. She just wants to focus on her studies but it seems like it's hard to do it only in this school. Which is absolutely ridiculous to her.

"It says there are only two clubs which are available. Singing club and badminton club" Hanni says.

"Yes, it means you have to join those two clubs" Minji yawns.

"There is no way I am joining a badminton club. I am not athletic at all. I don't even know how to play badminton" Hanni throws the documents on the desk.

"Look even if you can't play you still need to join at least. Or else it will affect your grades" Minji explains.

Hanni looks at Minji with an annoyed expression. Everything is getting on her nerves right now. And for the first time in her life she is talking this much with someone which is the most annoying part. And the second annoying part is that Kim Minji isn’t finding her intimidated and keeps approaching her casually. Clearly she will keep doing it the whole school year and she doesn’t want it at all.

"Kim Minji, do I really have to join both clubs? I can sing so joining a singing club won't hurt but I am really not athletic" Hanni worriedly says.

"Hey don't worry much I am in the badminton club. I can teach you how to play it. We practice Tuesday and Friday after the dismissal. There are some more newbies and you can practice with them too" Minji says while checking the documents.

"Great, now I have to socialize too. What's next? Going to a party?" Hanni scoffs in her mind.

"Also for singing club I guess you can practice alone or practice with the group too, whatever you want" Minji smiles at Hanni.

'Thank god. I will choose to practice alone" Hanni says.

"Then check this box" Minji points at the paper.

Hanni silently takes the papers from Minji and starts reading them. After a while she starts filling in the information. Lastly she looks at the papers properly again to see if she has given the correct information before signing.

"Here" Hanni hands Minji the papers.

"Alright, I guess you are all set" Minji says after looking at the papers.

"So welcome to the badminton club, I am the captain" Minji extends her arm for a handshake.

Hanni looks with a blank expression at Minji's extended hand which is waiting for a hand shake. Minji suddenly starts feeling embarrassed by this because the other girl has been just weirdly staring at her hand and not showing any interest for a handshake.
