Third pov
It's been 8 months since mingi went on his hiatus and he did call yunho whenever he could but yunho was still down.
He stopped slipping since then he's been big yunho ever since Mingi's leave and the members are all worried for him but he always tells them he's fine..
He just wants his mingi back with him he hates just seeing him through a screen but he never says anything to the members about it he doesn't even tell mingi about it he just smiles and talks with him happy to see and talk to him somehow.
He doesn't even know when mingi will be back whenever he asks the members they say they don't know and when he asks mingi he just says "soon pup" it makes him so sad...
He doesn't even sleep in his room with San anymore he sleeps in Mingi's room and wears his hoodies he just misses him so much.
Currently they were practicing I'm the one in the dance room for what seemed like the 100th time they finally had a break and yunho sighed sitting down on the floor exhausted out of his mind.
As he was sitting down in his own thoughts he didn't see someone sit down beside him until he felt a hand on his shoulder he looked over seeing San smiling at him "hey yun you alright?" He asked yunho nodded "I'm okay" he answered not really up for talking San sighed softly "listen yun I'm really sorry about mingi and I really worry about you I haven't seen you regress in 8 months I haven't even seen you smile or laugh genuinely I just want you to be okay and think about it like this pretty soon mingi will be back and healthy...you promised him you'd be a good boy and a strong boy for when he came back but you aren't you aren't showing the yunho that we all know and love" San said frowning while looking at yunho who frowned looking down.
"Mingi will want to see his baby pup when he gets back you know" San said jokingly and yunho actually giggled, a genuine giggle which made san smile happy with that "but don't worry you aren't being forced to regress take your time but I do want to see your smiles, and hear your cute giggles and laughs" San said smiling yunho nodded with a small smile and San got up walking off to seonghwa.
Yunho sighed softly he knew San was right but he just couldn't regress he didn't want to not without his daddy being with him but if he didn't mingi would probably be disappointed in him...
Yunho went home that night thinking of when mingi would be back but also if he should regress or not..
When he arrived in Mingi's room he took off his clothes and put on Mingi's hoodie and that was it then he got in the bed and hugged Mingi's pillow falling asleep with a tear falling down his face and with the mumble of "dada.."
The next morning he woke up and felt like he was laying on someone's chest and arms were wrapped around his waist he eyes widen he got scared that he teared up and tried to break out of this person's hood not realizing who the person was soon the person stirred when he heard sobbing and rustling "pup what's wrong?" He asked in a deep morning voice yunho stopped moving and gasped he looked at the person's face and tears started to fall down his face "d-daddy!" He said and hugged mingi tightly thinking this was a dream.
Mingi chuckled "hey baby, your right daddy's here and he's not leaving his baby boy again" he said and yunho sniffled sitting up on Mingi's legs "y-you wot weave yuyu anymo? You stay?" He asked slipping into his little space mingi smiled happy to hear the voice of his little one so he sat up and wrapped his arms around yunho's waist who smiled and laid his head on Mingi's shoulder "no baby and I'm sorry it took so long to come back to you you don't know how much I missed my baby" mingi said rubbing his baby's back soothingly yunho hummed loving it "I-I was a ba boy daddy yuyu didnt regwess while daddy was away" yunho mumbled mingi smiled at his honest baby.
"It's okay baby I already knew and I'm glad you did now I missed my baby pup" mingi said and yunho pulled away with the biggest smile on his face making mingi smile as well "wanna go get breakfast baby?" He asked and yunho nodded but when mingi went to get up yunho clung to him not letting go making mingi chuckle.
"Want daddy to carry you?" He asked and yunho nodded slipping deep into headspace mingi noticed and smiled softly getting off the bed with his baby in his hold.
When they got downstairs the members were all there sitting at the table, talking and when they noticed mingi and yunho they all smile "good morning mingi, yuyu" seonghwa said softly noticing that yunho was in his headspace mingi smiled "good morning hyung" he said and yunho babbled words laying his head back on Mingi's shoulder they all coo at him.
Then mingi and yunho join them at the table and they all began to eat of course seonghwa prepared baby food for yunho and mingi fed him before eating his own food surprisingly yunho ate everything instead of refusing it like he usually would 8 months ago guess little yunho was just as excited to see his dada.
When mingi finished feeding him he smiled "good boy you are yuyu!" He said and yunho giggled "dada!" He exclaimed with a giggle mingi smiled and so did everyone else.
After breakfast they all went to the living room and put on "home" it was a movie little yunho loved so much so that's what they watched and mingi hugged his baby close who smiled and leaned against his daddy.
Mingi was so happy to be back home with his baby he missed him like crazy and he feels like he's stronger now and nothing will keep him away from his baby again.
Mingi pecked yunho's cheek smiling when he heard his baby's giggle and tiny "dada!"
