Halloween had always been a favorite holiday of yours. You found it to be the most entertaining, and candy was half off afterwards. Quite the package deal. You also loved dressing up and seeing other people dress up, it was a nice sight.

You went to a party that day for no reason in particular, you were bored, but you didn't really enjoy the socialness of it. It was... Draining. You decided to get some food. Nothing was nearby except a pizza place. Pizza sounded good. Good enough anyway.

Inside, there were two girls sitting at a table. You recognized them from the party, but were sure they wouldn't recognize you. Not that you wanted them to. You sat down at a table behind them and ordered. Not long after... A clown walked in. This wasn't out of the norm, it was Halloween, but something felt off about this clown...

Not that you minded. You loooooved clowns.

The clown sat down and initially was staring at the girls, they said he was creepy, but then he noticed you and the plot somehow shifted... The clown mocked your pose and demeanor, and it caused you to let out a little laugh. It was cute, honestly. Very cute.

The clown got up, and you watched him as he walked over to a little bubblegum dispenser thing that had other miscellaneous prizes in it. He held up a quarter with a silly animated demeanor and got a prize from the machine. He did a bouncy walk over to you, opened the capsule, and held up a little ring with (give it a design) on it. Again, cute.

You didn't make the effort to accept the gift, you didn't know you were supposed to, so the clown simply grabbed your hand and slipped it on your finger. Once he let go, you covered your mouth and giggled a little bit. It was flattering.

"Aww!" The blonde chick in the booth in front of you said, causing both the clown and you to look over at her. "You guys are adorable, honestly.." She smirked. She was clearly drunk. "Thanks.." You said, not wanting to cause a drunken outburst by telling her not to talk to you.

The clown gave you a little pat on the shoulder before walking back over to his booth and sitting down. Your food got delivered to your table, and you ate it, but you felt eyes on you the entire time. You didn't dare look up, in fear that you would suddenly become afraid of that clown. That silly, silly clown.
