You and Art had been.. Friends.. For maybe a few months now. You'd been letting him stay in your apartment, and in return, well, he didn't kill you. It was nice though. It was nice having company around. You basically had scary dog privileges anytime you ordered pizza and some tall clown answered the door, looming eerily over everyone.
Altogether, you enjoyed keeping him around. He seemed to enjoy being around. He brought you little trinkets every single time he disappeared from your apartment, and brought them back so proudly, he was honestly adorable. You weren't entirely sure about your relationship though...
You decided tonight was a movie night, and you guys would be watching some horror movie. You wanted to spend time with him, "Hey, I'm making popcorn, do you.. Like, want anything on it?" You peeked your head into the living room. Art was sitting on the couch; he shook his head no to your offer.
You simply nodded and threw some microwave popcorn, well, in the microwave, and waited. It was a dreadfully long experience. Eventually it was done and you sat down on the couch, throwing the bag of popcorn onto the coffee table and turning on the TV.
Well... Halfway through the movie, Art pulled you closer, like he wanted to cuddle. "What.. Are you doing, buddy?" You softly laughed. Art simply smiled at you, he seemed content in the moment.. Weirdly content. You really didn't mind though. He was just the right temperature. It was comfortable.
"This movie isn't so scary when you're living with a serial killer.." You smiled at him. Art silently laughed, his signature mute self.. God, he was cute... You couldn't bring yourself to look back at the movie. You were staring at Art.. You never realized how pretty his eyes were.. You couldn't see it from afar, but they were a light shade of blue that almost looked grey...
You couldn't stop yourself from blushing a bit as you stared absentmindedly. It got worse when your eyes suddenly met, and you immediately looked away, flustered. Art's body slightly shook as he laughed and he moved your face to look back at him, his expression looking as though he was asking what you were doing...
"Nothing, it was nothing, let's just.. Watch the movie.." You exhaled. You were confused by what you were feeling. It felt wrong, in all honesty, but you couldn't stop yourself from thinking it. He wasn't just cute, he was handsome. He was attractive in some fucked up sense that you couldn't put your finger on.
And you wanted him.
