I pace my room of the orphanage. Today was the day that I was getting adopted. I was pretty scared of who it would be, but I was also excited. When I sat down to sort out my feelings, there was a knock on the door and a old women entered.
" Umm....hello?" I said
The lady hesitated before she spoke.
She looks familiar. I thought
"Uh...hello dear. I'm here to adopt you. You may not believe me but I'm am your mothers mother,and..." She paused.
I heard enough. I remembered her. She was the young woman who brought me cookies when I was younger. Tears streamed down my face and collected in puddles on the tiles.
" Oh my-" I say before
fainting.
