Jake and Neytiri were out for their date night so me and Neteyam had to watch over Lo'ak, Kiri and Tuk, Spider was here too but he was never allowed to stay the night so he should be leaving soon
Every since neytiri and Jake took me in life had gone much smoother my only problem was spider
He started coming around a few years ago and really got along with Kiri and Lo'ak, Neteyam was fine with him but only because he was around same with Tuk, I just didn't feel comfortable around him after the sky people had taken my father away from me
"Y/n come play with us!" Lo'ak said waving me and Neteyam over
"No Thank you" I said quickly looking away as to not see spider
"Hey are you okay?" Neteyam asked as he rubbed my arm
"Come with me" I said as I grabbed his hand and lead him out of the home and through the forest to a more private area
"What is it? What's wrong?" He asked when we finally stopped as the forest came alive with glowing color
"I need to get this off my chest, but promise you won't tell the others I know they won't understand"
He led me to sit down in front of him, holding my hand to reassure me
"I promise"
"It's spider"
"Did he do something to you?" He asked quickly
"No not really it's just.....I don't like being around him, I know it's not his fault but seeing a sky person just reminds me that his kind took away my father, leaving me alone for years, I just don't like having to relive that thought every time I see him, it sounds selfish but k just can't do it anymore Teyam" I could feel the stress lift off my chest finally being able to admit this to someone
"Oh y/n you should have said something sooner, we should tell mom and dad, it's not fair to have him around just for you to live like this"
"But the other will be mad at me"
"If they wanna hang out with him they can go to him, not in our home where you're suppose to feel safe"
"Okay"
~Next morning
I woke up next to Neteyam hearing Jake and Neytiri talking
"You're back!" I said excited as I ran up to them hugging them both
I pulled back but they weren't smiling, they looked scared
"What's wrong?" I asked as I felt Neteyam come stand next to me
"The sky people, they came back" Jake said and in that instant I felt all the fear I've felt creep up
I couldn't even handle being around spider let alone a whole bunch of humans, they were going to take everything from me
"No, this can't be happening, what do we do, they're going to come for us and take you away from me and I'm going to be alone again" I panicked as the tears kept falling
"Sweetie, I will keep you safe, I will do everything to protect all of you, I promise you won't lose us" Jake said as he tried to sooth me
"Mom, Dad I don't think we should allow Spider to come around anymore, everytime she sees him she has to remember that his kind killed Tsu'tey" Neteyam admitted
"He shouldn't come around anyways" neytiri said hissing at the idea of him
"Okay, if the others want to see him they can go find him with Norm"
~1 year later
Jake, Neytiri, Neteyam and Lo'ak were getting ready to go stop a train full of weapons
I sat in front of Neteyam placing his visor on, while Kiri did Lo'ak's war paint
"I don't want you to go" I said as I ran my fingers through his braids
"I know but we have to do this" placing his hand on top of mine as it found its place on his cheek
"Please be safe, I can't lose you"
"I'll be careful, I'll come back to you"
"Neteyam, Loak it's time to go!" Jake called out, outside our tent
We both stood up and I quickly wrapped my arms around his neck, feeling him wrap his around my waist
"I'll see you soon" he said as he let go and walked out of the tent
Neytiri stood up as she picked up her bow and arrow and came up to me with a gentle smile
"He will come back, we all will" and with that she left
I sat back down next to Kiri as Tuk was out playing with the other Navi children
"You're different with him" she said breaking the silence
"What?"
"You care for him" she smiled
"I care for all of you, you know that"
"Ya I know but you have feelings for him, romantic feelings" she said smirking
"What? No, What are you even talking about, you're crazy" I said nervously
"Relax I won't say anything" she laughed
"Was it that obvious?"
"Kinda, you always stay by his side, it's cute really, we all see the way you both look at each other"
"Wait all of you?"
"Ya we all talk about it all the time when you guys aren't around"
"That's so embarrassing" I said covering my face
"Don't worry he's completely oblivious to it all, it's funny actually"
For the next few hours she redid some of my braids until we heard the others return, I jumped up running out followed by Tuk and Kiri
Jake was scolding Lo'ak and Neteyam but I didn't care I saw Neteyam bleeding and I was quick to check him, running my hands over his arms making sure he wasn't terrible hurt
"Jake your son is actually bleeding" neytiri said stopping his punishing
I looked up at Neteyam and held his cheeks in my hands
"Are you okay Teyam?"
"I'm fine" he said as he held my waist
"I'm happy you came back to me" I said as he pulled me into another hug
When we pulled apart I then hugged Lo'ak knowing he hated when Jake spoke to him like that
"Come on let's go get you both cleaned by Mo'at!" I said pulling them both to her healing tent
I was quick to clean Neteyams wounds, washing water over them and applying a paste moat handed to me
"How are you feeling?" I asked as I dabbed his forehead with a cloth
"Better that I'm back with you" he smiled
