"We are together" he said smiling
Everyone remained silent for a moment until Kiri, Loak and Tuk run up to us excited
"I told you he loved you y/n!" Kiri squealed in happiness as she clapped her hands
"Congrats man!" Lo'ak patted Neteyam on his back while Tuk jumped into my arms
"I'm glad you're finally happy!" She said hugging my tight
After they calmed down we all looked at Neytiri and Jake
"I'm sorry if I'm not what you wanted for Neteyam" I said
Neytiri and Jake stood up and walked to us
"Dear you know we love you, and Neteyam is incredibly lucky to have such an amazing young lady! We knew this day would come since you were both children, how you would only stay close to him, confide in him, we are just happy you both finally came to your senses" neytiri smiled as she brushed my braids back
"Treat her well son!" Jake said
"Of course, I know she deserves the world"
After that everyone went off to sleep, that night I laid next to Neteyam, facing each other
He played with my braids as I looked into his big yellow eyes
"I can't believe I'm finally with you, I've wanted this for so long" I say smiling
"Me too, you're all I've thought about for years, I'm just glad you feel the same my love"
"On that topic, have you seen the way Lo'ak and tsireya look at each other? He's like a little love sick viper" I said snickering making him smile
"Oh I definitely have, I don't know how it will work though, they are so different"
"How so?"
"Well I feel she won't understand him, I know he's been through a lot and I doubt she'll be able to be there for him"
"I mean you could be right but we just have to let them work things out and if they don't work it's not the end of the world it's not like they're mated"
"True, have you thought about that before?" He asks nervously
"What do you mean?"
"Mating, becoming one through tshaylu"
"Of course I have, I've been in love with you for ever of course it's going to cross my mind" I laugh
