A bit of Gabriel's pov from 'I Did Not Want This'

This is not a rewrite, it just separates the villain's perspective and Bunnyx's POv and focuses on it more

Being in self-imposed lockdown inside his house doesn't stop him from being bombarded by adrenaline-inducing emotions. Sweaty, clammy skin, enduring the entire ordeal, doesn't even compare to Emilie's condition!

Most of those people he felt were blissfully engaged in their day-to-day lives, they would have no interest in helping him. However, some of them, no matter how small the problem would revel in the chance to rectify their incapability to solve it, so he figured out a command phrase.

"Humans are masters and limiters," the translated text doesn't just imply control over a kwami, but the user can alter their ability. It should have been clear sooner. "Nooroo dark wings rise," filters mainly negative emotions and draws near people who would be willing to accept help from a stranger in a silver mask. The phrase along with the black magic infused into his akuma inhibits the altruistic side and allows him to obtain control. Stoneheart's creation went as well as you'd expect and Gabriel finds laughing to be quite cathartic. It suddenly didn't matter if his attention was diverted to over one million, Hawkmoth was dead set on one goal.

                                                                                               ----

Papillon thought it was either naivety or insincerity when Ladybug suggested he give up before Mayura rescued him from what was about to be a shameful defeat. He set rampaging monsters on the city, surely the heroes would strip whatever dignity his alter ego had to offer. And with the reemergence of the temple, would the guardians really help, after finding out he was in possession of what they once owned? Besides the grimoire was clear, those miraculous are the only ones capable of sealing the damage.

Now the offer was tempting. Shadow Moth turned around, Destroyer brought Alya Cesaire just as he asked, with the Lahiffe boy as a bonus.

"Hey! Let us go!"

"Rena-Rouge, Carapace, it's been a while." Destroyer took the hint and left.

Nino and Alya stopped their kicking and screaming at the akumatized villain's departure. Ladybug would falter at the sight of hostages, better yet her friends.

Nino yelled, "What the hell are you gonna do with us, man?"

Ignoring the sudden flare of pain in his arm, he responded, "I will not harm you."

Alya, obviously not satisfied, said, "You already won, what could you possibly have to gain?"

Surrendering now would be the epitome of selfishness. Shadow Moth blocks out Alya and Nino's sorrow and anger and focuses on the presence of his former adversaries. "I'll feel accomplished."

While Bunnyx was watching the changed events of Miracle Queen, she had a gut reaction, similar to the one with Timetagger. It caused her to switch to the screen that was monitoring Ladybug and Cat Noir's progress. They were on the ground and he was just about to take the ring! If she hadn't stepped in to rescue them, Shadow Moth would have made another wish. Did he already? If so, it makes sense why Marinette and Adrien displayed signs of confusion. Adrien would have never gone to school. Gabriel must have switched places with Emilie Agreste. It didn't have larger effects than the slight memory loss, perhaps because both rewritten realities took place soon after another, so it would take a while to stabilize.

Bunnyx never noticed anything was amiss, there wasn't much reason to worry, because nothing largely threatening ever occurred. Dealing with La Farfalla was manageable; Ladybug and Cat Noir's teamwork also seemed more efficient.

                                                                                             ----

One might think after receiving dire consequences after wielding basically unlimited power, someone would never want to mess around with it again. Bunnyx scoffed, "Is this guy even fully there?"

"Then again, it's partially my fault, I should have been monitoring possibilities of dangerous chronological divergence." Alix was simply going through her daily life for months in bliss, but she of all persons should know continuity is an illusion.

At least there is some benefit to this, she pulled Ladybug and Cat some months before Miracle Queen even occurred in this future. After this, there might not even be a future Hawkmoth.

Bunnyx had put some distance between Ladybug and Cat Noir, she needed to think. What else could that feather have meant? Simple tricks will not turn the battle in their direction.

Nathalie Sancoeur, an unlikely help, Alix never thought of her as anything other than the stone-faced assistant who held a tablet. However, when she got her miraculous and grew into an adult, all became clear. As faithful as Mayura is, Bunnyx doubted she would be on board with the plan. Though it's not like she can just barge in and say, "Hey lady, I need you to stop your partner from erasing himself from the timeline and potentially causing more destruction."

Luckily when she found her, the woman was kneeling over Gabriel Agreste whose entire leg had vanished at this point. There was no way she'd lash out with him in such a vulnerable position. The heroes managed to prevent Shadow Moth from taking the miraculous again. Does he still have a high chance of succeeding? Is that why his leg won't return?

The transtemporal traveller also wasn't sure if the plan of Miracle Queen had been fully conceived yet, but this should be enough. "Mayura, I am Bunnyx, if you want to save Hawkmoth come with me." That was all she needed to say for Nathalie to transform and step into the portal. Together they met up with Ladybug and Cat Noir.
