You wake up to the sunshine shining in your face. You're still in bed but Rengoku is out of bed. You hear footsteps expecting it's Senjuro, but it was someone else.
"Excuse me, why are you in my house?"
You see a full grown man that has the same hair as Rengoku's hair. He sounded as if he was a short tempered man. (which he is) You just laid there, not sure what to say or do. Rengoku comes back in his bedroom, he sees you and the man just standing there.
"Oh Y/n, I forgot to tell my father about you staying here. Father I would like you to meet Y/n, Y/n this is my Father." Rengoku says.
"Kyojuro, why would you let in a random person in my god damn house?" Rengoku's father said in a angry tone.
"Father please keep it down, they will only stay here less than a week." Rengoku said.
(A little side note: You pretty much had to find a new place to stay in because you couldn't afford the inn anymore)
"Tch, whatever but if you get in my way I will kick both of you out of my house." his father said.
"I'm very sorry about my father's behavior, he has changed a lot since my mother's death." Rengoku says in a shameful voice.
"I don't mind! I understand a lot." you said.
"Oh good, again I apologize for the rude introduction of my father, I was wondering have you ever tried sweet potatoes? They are very delicious! I was buying some things from the market and I see some sweet potatoes." Rengoku said.
"No I haven't tried any ever in my life." Y/n said surprisingly.
"Well that's a shock, here you can have one to try for yourself!" Rengoku said.
Rengoku hands you a sweet potato, you take your first bite and it was amazing. Rengoku takes a bite of his sweet potato and shouts out "tasty!". You jump a little but you don't mind his habit at all.
"Sorry for asking but would you like to cook with me? It's fine if you don't want to. My younger brother usually helps me cook but I forgot to buy something at the market." Rengoku says.
"Sure why not! I really enjoy cooking for others." Y/n said.
